When planning our wedding, of course we called a lot of vendors. I spoke to a couple DJs on the phone and they hit me with their prices. The prices were competitive, nothing crazy. Then I called DJ Barry Blends, and right away I knew something was different because he wanted to meet us and talk to us about our wedding and get to know us and our taste in music. It was great. We met, he didn't take up a lot of our time, and he was truly interested in us. His price was competitive too, so we went with him. We had a blast at our wedding. The mix of music was perfect, everyone was dancing. The light package DJ Barry brought was more than we expected. People to this day, now 5 years ago, talk about how much fun our wedding was. That doesn't happen if the music sucked. LOL. I am still friends with Barry today. How many people can say that about their wedding DJ.

DJ Barry Blends was responsive from the beginning, receptive to our communication on music genres and selected songs we wanted added to his playlist. His mixture of genres and flawless execution of flowing from one to the other was seamless. Our guests had an extraordinary time, and the joyful and celebratory atmosphere of our wedding reception was fulfilled just as we dreamed it to be. A lot of that was due to DJ Barry Blends' ability, not just with his musical presentation, but his assistance in time management as the 'unofficial' emcee moving things along with time precision. Our friends still regard our wedding reception as among their favorites they've attended.

I planned a fairly big wedding in a very short time, therefore I had to get a DJ quickly. I was incredibly fortunate to find DJ Barry Blends and that he was so easy to work with. He not only did my reception but did the music for my ceremony as well. I never worried that he wouldn't know the queues or the timing. He got everything exactly right. I also gave him a list of songs so he could get feel for my music taste, and really the reception music exceeded my expectations. The dance floor was never empty, the music was FIRE, and he captured an audience with his skills with the turntable. It was honestly the most fun party I've ever been to and, oh yeah, it was my wedding! I'm mixed race (black and white) and both sides of the family came to me let me know that it was the best music they've heard at a wedding.

We booked DJ Barry Blends for our wedding and he was worth every penny and then some. Our guests were on the dance floor the entire time. He gets the party going and maintains the energy to the end. At the end of the wedding we were asked by many to please do it again the next weekend.
By the way, I booked him for my daughter's teenage party and my husband's birthday party.....Top notch all the way

Dj Barry blends was like the best Dj ever! He took suggestions played the right music got the party moving and grooving. Even folks that don’t dance got up to the tunes he played. I would book him again

DJ BARRY - My wife and I scheduled our wedding for Veterans Day weekend and we contacted plenty of DJ’s for their availability and pricing. Unfortunately almost every DJ we contacted either (1) failed to call or email back (2) were too expensive or (3) lacked proper advertising to establish their credibility and level of experience. I came across DJ Barry’s website and I instantly fell in love with his previous work, which included tons of client video testimony. When I learned DJ Barry and I attended the same church in Brooklyn I was sold. My wedding turned out great and all of the guests enjoyed themselves. DJ Barry was professional and punctual. In my opinion these are the two most important concerns when hiring a vendor for your wedding. I particularly wasn’t happy to see my sister turning up on the dancing floor but that never happens without having an exceptionally GREAT DJ. I would recommend hiring him for your wedding or event as well.

Me and my wife couldn't of been any happier about our choice. My man Barry blends had my wedding on the dance floor all night!!! Literally. My great grandmothers did not take a seat the whole night! Lol. When we met with dj BB he asked us what kinda music we liked and that was it. He took it from there and the rest was history. If I could do it again (which I wouldn't lol ) I'd pick him again. He charged us 2000 dollars and let me tell you. We tried to tip him by the end of the night. But he wouldn't take it because he was a good friend of my father. But he's worth WELL over 2000 dollars. Id refer him to anybody else. EXCELLENT dj. Excellent on the mike. And last but not least and amazing person. Not being biased because he's a friend of my fathers either.
