We love Gina! We hired her as our wedding coordinator and she took care of the rest. She is extremely professional and has a great eye for style! We got married at Lanikuhonua and could not have done it without her. She helped us create our rental list, design the layout and timing of the ceremony and reception and more. She really went above and beyond by helping us transport and set up the many details we had at the wedding such as our dessert bar, candle luminaries, photo booth, and more. We can’t thank Gina enough for her services in helping us create our dream destination wedding! We are from Australia and whilst having visited Hawaii a number of times and having a good idea of the celebration we wanted, Gina’s assistance in the months, weeks and days leading up to the wedding was invaluable. Although we only engaged Gina for ‘Day of Coordination’, she was more than willing to help us find vendors and a ceremony location and was able to provide a wealth of advice and suggestions to bring our vision to life. It was important to us to create a celebration that represented us as a couple and she took the time to understand exactly what we wanted and really worked with us to make sure this happened. Gina also did all of the floral design for our ceremony and reception venues which were absolutely gorgeous, professional and captured the personal touches that we wanted to include. D’lish Catering (run by Gina’s sister) provided the meal as well as our wedding cake, all of which tasted amazing and elicited many compliments from our guests. It was simply delicious! All the Divine and D’lish staff were very friendly, polite and professional and with Gina’s organisation and direction the day ran seamlessly. I would definitely recommend Gina to anyone planning a destination wedding or even just looking for someone to provide oversight and/or creative direction for their special day.

Without a doubt, hiring Gina, from Divine Weddings and Events, was one of the best thing things we ever did for our wedding. A destination wedding is an incredible way to celebrate your big day, but you face some interesting challenges being on the other side of the world. We had the knowledge of a local to point us in the right direction when we were unsure about certain things, and who could be our eyes and ears on the ground, as we were unable to visit Hawaii beforehand. Gina had the expertise to turn our vision for the wedding into a real-life fairy tale.
We enlisted Gina’s services approximately a year and half prior to the wedding, knowing that we were greatly limited in the things we could organise from Australia. There was an 18 hour time difference to contend with when planning phone meetings but Gina’s flexibility made the arrangements painless. She provided us with insights into every aspect of wedding planning, various options for vendors and unique ideas to make the day complete. No request was too big to handle and no detail too small to be overlooked. From the moment we touched down in Hawaii, Gina was there at our beck and call to settle us in, show us around, and take care of anything we asked of her. The wedding ceremony was held at Waialae Beach Park and the reception at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, both amazing venues. Gina’s company, D’lish Catering and Special Event co, also handled our floral design and décor, and Tiers of Joy Hawaii, her sister’s company, supplied the wedding cake. Gina really is a one-stop shop!!
You only get one chance to pull off the biggest day of your life, and as we all know, sometimes all the planning in the world won’t prevent issues from arising. But knowing that you have someone with invaluable experience in the industry that you can turn to, is in itself, priceless. The only downside of the whole arrangement is that we won’t be getting married again which means it may be a while before we have the pleasure of using Gina again! Or perhaps we could take a little trip to Hawaii next year to renew our vows…..

We engaged Gina as our day-of-coordinator for our destination wedding at Loulu Palms Estate and from the get-go she was absolutely amazing! We live in Australia and I knew that organising a wedding from so far away was never going to be easy, given we had no local knowledge and were relying purely on websites, emails and phone calls for information.

From the moment I contacted Gina I knew we would be in good hands; I had lots of (very vague) ideas of how I wanted our wedding to look and Gina was somehow able to interpret exactly what I was after. Attention was paid to every detail and she went out of her way to accommodate any requests that were made. Gina also has a great network of contacts which I was very appreciative of, as it helped me sort out all the other little details for the wedding (transport for our guests, fire dancer for the reception, etc).

When it came to our wedding day, I was truly blown away by what Gina had created for us; she ensured the day ran smoothly and I was left to worry about nothing except myself. Even my husband (who doesn't take much interest in the finer details) was extremely impressed. Our guests had a ball and I can honestly say that it was the wedding of my dreams. I should add that our catering was through Gina's company D'Lish and was exceptional, as was our floral design.

I would not hesitate to recommend Gina to anyone; she is extremely experienced, professional and simply wonderful to deal with and most importantly, helped keep me sane through the whole wedding planning process!
