Before we had a venue or anything else selected, I knew I wanted Debra as my photographer-- her photos are not cheesy, and minimally posed. They tell a story...because she's a photojournalist.

Our experience with Debra was great. She was professional, she took photos at our wedding that we are completely thrilled with, and she was responsive. She's also fun to hang out with. We had a great experience.

Debra is not only a fantastic photographer, but a wonderful person as well! From the first email I sent to her to my last memory of her flashing bulb as I left my reception, I was so happy that I chose her. She leaves you with no doubt that everything is going to work out, which is hard for vendors to do ! Two things stood out for me about Debra: one is the streamlining of her business. From email communications to her website to tracking every last detail to payment, she is extremely organized, and I was very impressed with the way she runs her business. It's not at all "old-school", and you can immediately tell that this lady has her stuff together, which is reassuring-everything is clear and laid out for you, so there is no opportunity for anyone to drop the ball. The second thing that stood out to me is her shining personality. Debra is laid back, friendly, and warm, always with a smile on her face. She made my bridal portraits fun, shooting photos before the wedding easy, and even gave me a band-aid on the dance floor when I got a blister at my reception! It's great to work with a vendor you would want to be friends with in real life. She is also a talented, creative, and skilled photographer with affordable prices. You can't go wrong! She would be a fantastic choice for your wedding

Deborah did an after-wedding shoot for my husband and I, along with my horse. She was professional, creative and absolutely fun to work with. She captured not only our personality as a couple (in some awesome lighting I might add), but my horse's personality. That's hard to do! I just received the photos and screamed, cried and laughed in pure joy at how absolutely dream like and perfect they are. They are beyond anything I could have imagined. We met with Deborah prior at a coffee house to discuss what we were interested in that we didn't get during the day of the wedding (had a totally diff photographer for the day of). She not only captured that, but went above and beyond. She is highly responsive via email, which is helpful as I work full-time and often breaks, lunch hours or evenings are when I have freetime to communicate. Would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone!

There are not enough words to describe how AWESOME Debra is! I did 2 sets of engagement (1 in winter since that was one of me and my fiance's first date at Trail of Lights, but we did not want them all in winter in our coats so we did another one in Spring), bridal portraits, boudoir portraits (my fiance LOVED!!!!) and then obviously the wedding. Debra is so artistic and got so many great shots that we will cherish forever!! She was so fun to work with and was open to my thoughts and ideas as well. She is truly a joy to work with!! I couldn't be happier with all of my photos and can't wait for the next event that I can call on Debra for! When working with a photographer, there are moments when you kind of feel awkward, like you can't be yourself, but I never felt this way at all. In fact, she helped bring out the sexy, silly, fun, romantic, or whatever for the different shots she was taking. It was always like Christmas getting our pictures in the mail and looking at them together. She was very responsive and was dedicated to making everything perfect and just the way we wanted it. Debra is just amazing!!

The pictures are absolutely amazing! Dan and I knew from the minute we met you at our initial meeting that we wanted you to be part of our special day, and we are so happy that we did! The engagement pictures were so much fun and you really captured our personalities! Then the day of the wedding you were so kind and helped to guide us through all of the formal pictures quickly and calmly while capturing the most amazing pictures I have ever seen! Debra Gulbas is an incredible photographer, and I have been admiring her work for the last few years and decided when I got married to fly her to DC for my wedding. She went above and beyond making sure to capture every moment for us and making sure to know exactly what we were looking for (which required dealing with a lot of emails from me!). She is so very friendly and makes you feel so comfortable with her at your side! Her work is worth every penny and really quite reasonable for the quality!

My husband and I were very lucky to find Debra at the wedding expo. Debra is caring, enthusiastic, and wants to capture the moment. She takes her work very seriously and it shows in the professional product. She is very flexible and before you know it, she feels like part of the family. I would highly recommend her, she is an excellent photographer.

Debra was an absolute pleasure to work with, from our first meeting until we drove away from our wedding. She was a perfect photographer for our engagement photos, our wedding photos, and my bridal portrait, and I would absolutely recommend her for any event, big or small.

Debra made the photo taking at my wedding exciting rather than something to dread. If you are looking for a documentary style session, she does a great job. I prefer her style over traditional portraits. My husband and I have framed 5 of her pictures and it was hard to narrow it down. Our house is filled with pictures of us! An engagement session was part of the package and she did a bridal session as well. She made us feel really comfortable.
