I am disappointed with the service we got from Dave. He is expensive, hard to get a hold of, unprofessional, and has poor attention to detail. Not to mention that he showed up to my wedding half an hour late! Many of our pictures had distortions on them that he claimed were due to a lens of his. He even said he had noticed this distortion before but still used this lens for events! Some of my favorite shots are simply ruinted. He attempted to fix them, but they are just not the same. Several of the pictures he put on our album had red eyes in them or had been edited poorly. One of his "signatures" is making part of the picture in color and another part in black & white. Look closely at these photos and you will be able to see a faint line around the colored part where the cropped it. Horrible! It took 4 months to get our album! From the beginning we told him he could just select the photos to be used in the wedding, but a month later he hadn't started the album because we didn't give him any instructions. Additionally, he received the wrong size album from Art Leather which also delayed our receipt of the album. We are convinced that the mistake was on his end and not theirs. After we received the album and noticed all of the terrible editing, we made him re-edit and replace some of the picutes. He did this at no extra cost and threw in several free 8x10s, but it was not worth it. Don't count on having a very good variety of pictures, either. Our event was 4 hours long and he only took about 150 photos! He uses a digital camera, so it's not like it's costs more to take more pictures. Just visit his stuido and take a very close look at some of the large pictures he has on display there. You will see his poor editing, I assure you. If he doesn't perfect the shots he shows in his stuido, do you really think he'll take the time to do a good job on your album?? Do yourself a favor and hire Beaulac or His Vision if you're getting married in Conroe. I wish we had!
