Petra offers a wide range of sewing specialties including, but not limited to: alterations, repairs, resizing and restyling of your wedding gown, bridesmaids dresses, special occasion dresses . Petra can also make your baby’s Christening gown out of your bridal gown. Petra makes bridal garters and ring bearer pillows, which also can be personalized with your name and wedding date.

Serving the South Jersey area for over 20 years, I specialize in custom wedding dress alterations, christening, communion and baptism gowns, wedding accessories and much more.

Wonderful!

Petra did an absolutely amazing job with the alterations on my bridal gown and my mother’s gown for my wedding. My gown needed many alterations and had a lot of beading and appliqués. Petra is very detail orientated and an experienced seamstress. She made sure my gown was absolutely perfect and was so wonderful to work with!

Petra was amazing to work with. In the final days before my wedding I had my final fittings scheduled with Petra, but unfortunately she had been assigned Jury Duty. Chris, the owner of the boutique filled in for Petra to do the final adjustments and then I was able to have the final, final adjustments completed with Petra the next day. Luckily she was dismissed from serving, but she was very accommodating and willing to work around my schedule to make sure everything was completed just perfectly. My dress came out amazing and I appreciated her expertise and guidance on the alterations. Highly recommend!

Very reliable seamstress! I had total confidence and faith in Petra and she delivered. Petra altered my bridal gown in the bust side area, very well done and so quickly. Less than 2 weeks is all it took! I bought my dress at simplicity boutique because Petra was so reliable.

Petra was a great seamstress. Very professional and easy to work with! My wedding dress was very detailed - with a ton of lace detail work at the hem. Petra spent hours hemming it and making it look perfect! It is a true art that she has mastered!

Petra did a phenomenal job on my wedding dress alterations. I required more changes than originally anticipated and Petra took her time and did a meticulous job ensuring the dress looked just perfect. I highly recommend Petra and Simplicity Boutique for formal gowns and wedding attire.

When I was in need of gown alerations about 5 years ago before my sons wedding, Petra was highly recommended to me by a family friend. She and her family had relied on Petra for alterations for many years. Since then, my family and I have also relied on Petra for all of our alterations - wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, flower girl dtesses, mother of the bride gown, mother of the groom gown, etc. She never disappoints!! Her work is outstanding!! She provides personalized, professional services, meeting all deadlines and at very rasonable pricing. Petra definately goes above and beyond for her customers! Petra did an absolutely amazing job on my wedding dress. I had a dress that was too long for me and was made of lace. Petra was able to completely take the lace off of the bottom and put it back on. She did a wonderful job and made me feel perfect in my wedding dress. I would definitely recommend her, and have recommended her, to several of my friends. She was even able to do several people's dresses that were in or attending my wedding.

Petra truly did an amazing job with alterations on my wedding dress and all of my bridesmaids dresses. I was having so many doubts with the way my dress was fitting me when I first picked it up from the store but after meeting with Petra she reassured me that it would fit exactly how I wanted it after she did the alterations. Of course, my dress fit me PERFECT for my big day. Thank you so much Petra, I would recommend you to anyone looking for alterations.
