Facilities and Capacity
Running Deer offers both indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception spaces to plan your dream wedding. The most popular wedding ceremony space is the Timbers, a rustic outdoor ceremony space and pergola set to a stunning wooded background. This unique ceremony site offers privacy and breathtaking natural scenery. If you opt for an indoor ceremony, the Timbers is still a great place for wedding portraits. Running Deer also offers an outdoor patio perfect for cocktail hour. These scenic patio areas offer a perfect view of the hilly golf course. Inside, you can host your reception in the grand ballroom, complete with cathedral ceilings and floor-length windows for a view of the natural scenery. The couple and wedding party will have access to two distinct spaces for pre-wedding prep. One suite has floor-length mirrors, a vanity, and plush couches, while the other has a flat-screen TV, card room, and overstuffed seating for your wedding party to relax and get ready for the big day. In total, Running Deer can accommodate up to 200 guests.

I've worked here many times and the staff is always amazing! The venue is gorgeous with an A framed ballroom with high ceilings, which makes it a photographer's dream to shoot at.
Running Deer is THE place to have your wedding ceremony and reception. The bridal suite is a spacious, gorgeous place to get ready in even for the largest bridal parties. The surroundings are beautiful - everywhere you look is a photo opp! The staff is super-friendly and treats brides and grooms as if they're royalty. The food and desserts are as good as any five star restaurant in Philly. If you want an amazing, stress-free, and a beautifully picturesque wedding, have it at Running Deer!
