Courtney and the second photographer were fantastic! They showed up on time and were organized and super friendly. To top it off they’re very cost effective! Highly recommend!

I really liked that Courtney didn't have many staged photos, they all felt like honest moments that she captured. A lot of the wedding photographers have almost identical photos for every wedding they shoot, and I loved her documentary style that showed the personality of the couples. We ultimately hired Courtney because we felt comfortable around her and we really enjoyed hanging out with her, she put us at ease. Choosing a photographer is the biggest decision we made in planning, and we knew Courtney would be trustworthy and give us great photos to keep forever.

Courtney Potter is the best there is! She is so talented and captured moments of my wedding day I'll cherish forever. Courtney is also very calming which was wonderful to have around on a hectic day. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs a photographer for any occasion :)

Courtney is by far one of favorite people to work with. She was absolutely amazing to work with from the initial email, to the day of the wedding, to receiving finished product (photos). You certainly get what you pay for, and with so many different options to choose from, you can really select what works best for you. Because of Courtney and her amazing photography skills, I can always cherish that special day for a lifetime. I highly recommend her (and already have) to anyone looking for outside the box photos. Courtney was great to work with. She was very organized and thorough on the front end of planning - she has a very comprehensive checklist which helped us think through which shots we wanted to get. She has a fun and awesome personality, so we loved having her around on the day of the wedding. The assistant photographer was also great too, they both had us cracking up all night. Courtney was so fabulous to work with! My husband and I both felt at ease around her during our engagement session, so we interacted naturally with each other during the shoot and it shows in our beautiful pictures. She’s super easy to get along with and very organized and responsive. She goes above and beyond – for example she drove a long way to check out our ceremony location with us before the wedding to get a sense of the lighting on the big day. Because we had the pleasure of working with Courtney for our engagement session, it was comforting to know that we already knew and trusted the person who would photograph our wedding – and that she would take stellar photos (which she DID!) We also love that she and her assistants encouraged us to be goofy and creative during the photo shoot – but also took time shooting us being candidly sincere and in love. My husband and I hired Courtney as our wedding photographer, and we couldn't be happier with that decision! As you can tell from her portfolio, Courtney is an AMAZING photographer. Part of what drew us to her was not only her obvious talent, but how unique her photos are. She has a knack for catching those fleeting candid moments that happen throughout the big day when you're in too much of a rush to really appreciate them. We found a lot of those Easter eggs in the finished images we received and we love them so much, even more than our posed portraits! Her use of light and framing to create complex, creative images is really astounding and we've gotten tons of compliments on the ones that we've shared with loved ones and online. Courtney is also just a really cool person in general - everyone loved her and were able to relax around her, so she was able to capture everyone acting natural and having fun. I could not recommend her more if you're looking for someone to document your big day!

Courtney did a great job doing the photography for our wedding! She was very professional and always very quick to communicate with us. We live out of state, so weren't able to meet her until our wedding weekend, but she made that as easy as it could have been. She has several photography packages available and gave us honest advice to help us choose the one that seemed best for our needs. She provided a contract that could be signed online and sent us a questionnaire a couple of months before our wedding with specific questions about our photography needs. She made herself available for several phone calls beforehand to discuss our ideas for the wedding and our photography preferences, and answer our questions, and met with us at the wedding venue on the day before to scout out the best locations for portraits etc.

On the day of the wedding, she was punctual, professional, fun and relaxed, and took some wonderful photos! She fit right in with our group and did a great job getting the formal portraits we wanted before the wedding without it being distracting or awkward during such a busy day. You can tell that she is super well organized and has a system for how to get everything done, and it works! I felt like she helped me calm down on such a hectic day. She and her assistant also did a fantastic job getting a ton of great candid shots during our ceremony and reception. We got the photographs back digitally about 5 weeks later, and I could not have been happier with how they turned out. Courtney and her assistant really captured the feeling of our wedding by getting great shots of so many special moments and details just at the right time. I'm so grateful to have her stunning photos to reminisce with for years to come. We ordered prints and they were delivered to us in a timely manner along with a flash drive with all of our images optimized for print and web. We're very happy with Courtney's work, and would definitely recommend her for any event!

Courtney's photography looks very authentic and truly captures the spirit and emotions of what is happening in the moment. Sometimes wedding photography can appear staged. Of course you need some posed portraits, but some of the best photos I've seen from weddings is when the person doesn't realize they are being photographed. Courtney and her second shooter were great to work with! They rolled with whatever was going on and went along with whatever goofy thing we wanted to do. Courtney knew the venue well, and I like where she put us for "the first look." Courtney is incredibly easy to work with and super reliable. As a bride you need to know you can count on people the day of because you have zero time to micro-manage and with Courtney I didn't once worry that something was going to go wrong.
