My husband and I were so lucky enough to find and book Mac, Felipe and their team for our wedding! We thought the food was delicious right from the start and our guests were absolutely blown away. The food that Comparti provides is just amazing and not your traditional wedding food, it’s unique and some of the best food we’ve had in NYC. We used Comparti for a 100+ person backyard wedding in NJ in June 2021. We had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Comparti. From the outset, Mac put us very at ease in answering all our questions and concerns about the logistics of a large backyard wedding with the food preparation on site. They were very helpful in putting together the menu and custom-tailoring certain items to our preferences. The food was delicious, the presentation and service were excellent, and we received many compliments from our guests about the food and bar service. Everything about working with Mac and Comparti was very smooth from the tasting all the way through to the day of the wedding. When we had issues with our transportation of guests to the afterparty, Comparti even went the extra mile to let us utilize their shuttle to transport guests. We would highly recommend Comparti to anyone looking for a wedding caterer.

We truly cannot say enough GREAT things about Comparti! They catered our wedding at 501 Union in January, and they did a fantastic job! Not only was Melissa and the rest of her team incredible to work with, but most importantly the food was delicious!! We received so many compliments during and after the wedding. My Uncle told me the salmon was the best he’s had in his life (wow!) and we had many guests rave about how unique and wonderful the food as well as the service was.
From the first time we met Melissa for our tasting, we knew that Comparti was who we wanted to go with. The knowledge that she brought to the table about the food, venue, set up, and rentals was extremely helpful. We had a last minute venue change and needed to pivot our plan of having a seated dinner to stations, and she helped us navigate that change with ease. It’s been 4 months since our wedding and we are STILL getting rave reviews about the food from our guests. We were blown away by our experience with Comparti from the beginning planning phase until the last drink was poured at the reception. We served a family style meal that was custom designed based on local favorites (short rib, trout, pasta primavera) from the Catskill Mountains where our wedding was held. Comparti went above and beyond to bring our vision to life and the care and attention they put into our menu was on full display for our guests. We got married in a barn with no kitchen and Comparti had no problem serving hot, high quality food despite having to setup all their own equipment. Our food was served family style and allowed everyone to eat as much as they wanted of what they preferred. Many guests told us how they asked for seconds and how Comparti was quick to re-supply any dish that ran low. Guests raved that they couldn’t get enough and it was the best wedding food they ever had! We even had a couple that was getting married the following month tell us that they were now convinced they wanted to change plans with their caterer and serve a family style meal based on the experience they had at our wedding. I could go on and on about how beautiful and delicious the food was and how as bride and groom we actually had a chance to eat and enjoy each bite. Comparti had servers ready with appetizers and our signature drinks immediately following the post ceremony pictures so that my husband and I could try one of everything before getting caught up with socializing. What a nice touch! Speaking of the drinks, WOW! My husband and I spent a lot of time coming up with our specialty cocktails and Comparti’s bartenders did not disappoint. Drinks were delicious and just as we planned. It’s such a fulfilling feeling to see your vision come to life and to know that your caterer is going to put as much thought and attention to all the details that you worked so hard to plan. Whatever you are planning, you need to book Comparti to provide your food. It will be the best decision you make! The food itself is absolutely incredible, but what really sets them apart is their organization, service, and passion. Melissa was so easy to work with and truly every email, every meeting was a joy. Planning a wedding can be really overwhelming and from the beginning, Comparti (and Melissa in particular) provided as much support and advice as we need, even on aspects beyond the catering! She really helped us put together the schedule of the day and customize every part of the experience to our needs. As I didn't have a wedding planner, feeling like Melissa was always in my corner was really welcome. I told my husband through the whole process that every time I thought Comparti couldn't be any more fantastic, they would do even something more to make our experience fantastic. I've also barely even talked about the food, and everyone there said it was one of the best meals they've ever had and definitely the best wedding food.

Nothing but praise for Melissa and the Comparti staff! We had our wedding at the Brooklyn Historical Society recently and it turned out better than we imagined. Melissa brought her A-team to help us with our wedding! The food was incredible - our guests were raving about the menu. Beyond that, the staff was coordinated and professional. They were attentive - no detail was left unattended. I would highly recommend Comparti for any large group events, but particularly weddings. They will not disappoint!

We had SUCH an amazing experience working with Comparti. They were so flexible with what we wanted and the food was as amazing as it was the night we went for our tasting and it was also beautiful on the tables. Everyone we spoke to enjoyed it - they even got shout-outs during one of the speeches.

They were also just so easy to work with, available and responsive. They took care of all of our rentals and met with us in the showroom to make sure the decor looked just right. They were always responsive on email and we even jumped on the phone to make sure there were no confusions more than once. We really felt that they went above and beyond what a normal caterer does. And they did everything that they could to make sure our day was perfect. We 100000000% recommend them.
