We hired Sukhadia Caterers for our wedding weekend this past summer, and our guests are STILL raving about the food! We've heard from so many people that it was some of the best food they have ever had at a wedding or any event, and we couldn't agree more.

From the very beginning, Shaivi Sukhadia was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was incredibly professional, responsive, and made the entire process so easy. She helped us create a menu that was perfect for our special weekend and ensured every detail was taken care of. Her entire team was extremely professional throughout our weekend as well.

The quality and flavor of the food were truly exceptional. The variety of dishes offered was incredible, catering to all our guests' tastes. Everything was fresh, delicious, and the presentation was absolutely beautiful, showing the care and attention to detail they put into every single plate. From our very first conversation, we told Shaivi and the team that food was one of the most important aspects of our wedding. The food was simply phenomenal. Every dish was beautifully presented, incredibly flavorful, and executed to perfection. Every station was thoughtfully curated and felt like an experience of its own. From the live dosa station to the jalebi station, the Mediterranean selections, and everything in between, every single item was a 10/10. Even months later, the first thing our guests bring up when talking about our wedding is the food. We continue to receive nonstop compliments, and countless guests have told us it was some of the best food they have ever had at a wedding.

What made the experience even more meaningful was the care and attention Sukhadia put into the details that mattered most to us. One of the most special elements of our wedding was the Vatan Nu Village station, which we wanted as a way to honor my late father and celebrate a meaningful part of our family's heritage. Shaivi and the team understood the significance of this from the beginning and brought it to life so beautifully. Seeing our guests enjoy it and connect with that part of our story was incredibly emotional and something we will cherish forever.

Beyond the food, the overall experience and service were truly exceptional. The presentation was stunning, the staff was professional and attentive, the execution was seamless, and every station was maintained with the highest level of care and cleanliness. Their organization, flexibility, and commitment to excellence gave us complete peace of mind throughout the entire wedding weekend. No detail was overlooked.

We cannot speak highly enough about Sukhadia and the incredible food and service they provided for our wedding. From the very beginning, starting with the tasting, Shaivi and the Sukhadia team were thorough, thoughtful, and completely committed to making sure our menu reflected everything we wanted. Food and music were the two biggest priorities for us, and Sukhadia absolutely delivered beyond our expectations.

One thing that stood out immediately was how accommodating and proactive they were. We had hired an onsite composting service to help reduce waste, and Sukhadia was more than willing to work with them. They even took it upon themselves to further reduce waste by using bamboo plating containers for their food stations, which we appreciated so much. Their attention to detail went far beyond just the food.

Our venue initially had only three approved Indian caterers, but they were willing to work with Sukhadia, and after the wedding we heard that the venue was incredibly impressed with the professionalism, organization, and cleanliness of the Sukhadia staff. That meant a lot to us, because it confirmed what we already felt throughout the entire planning process and wedding weekend. Sukhadia is truly a top-tier team.

The food itself was phenomenal. When we talk to any of our guests about the wedding, the first thing everyone mentions is the food. We were initially a little concerned about whether they would have the breadth of experience to execute so many different cuisines at the level we were hoping for, but we have never been happier to be proven wrong. Everything was outstanding.

Our friends and family still talk nonstop about the South Indian dishes served after the Haldi, as well as the incredible variety of stations and dishes at the Sangeet. The pav bhaji station, bhel poori cones and chaat baskets, Indo-Chinese station with hakka noodles, Mexican fiesta station, Calcutta Wok station, Punjabi food station, live pani poori station, and Indian desserts were all huge hits. Every station felt fun, fresh, and thoughtfully executed.

They also completely nailed the cocktail hour. The passed items, tava station, and Mediterranean bar were so good that we were actually relieved there was enough time between cocktail hour and the reception dinner, because some guests filled up too much before dinner even started. That is probably the best “problem” you can have at a wedding.

The reception buffet was just as excellent, with beautifully prepared staples like butter chicken, tadka daal, bharela bhinda, matar paneer, malai kofta, and more. Everything was flavorful, well-presented, and served with the same level of care that we saw throughout the entire weekend.

On top of all of this, Shaivi was incredible. She was experienced enough to realize that, as the couple, we probably would not have time to get dinner plates for ourselves, so she personally made plates for both of us and brought them to our table. That small gesture meant so much and perfectly captured the level of care and service Sukhadia provided.

Sukhadia exceeded every expectation we had. The quality of the food, the variety of cuisines, the professionalism of the staff, the cleanliness, the flexibility, and the service were all exceptional. They played such a major role in making our wedding feel special, memorable, and deeply personal. We are so grateful to Shaivi and the entire Sukhadia team and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for outstanding catering.

It was wonderful working with Sukhadia and especially Shaivi. Our guests raved about the food, the flavors, the variety and the presentation. We cannot say enough amazing things about Sukhadia Caterers. We worked with them for our wedding in Cancun and they were by far our favorite vendor to work with.

This was their first time doing a wedding in Cancun, and they absolutely crushed it from start to finish. They handled every logistical challenge seamlessly, in spite of it being their first time in Cancun. They were able to import spices from India, fly in key ingredients, and even rent a tandoor onsite so guests could enjoy fresh naan throughout the weekend.

What impressed us most was how completely stress-free they made the entire experience. We never once had to worry about them as a vendor because they were always proactive, organized, and calm under pressure. They went above and beyond in ways we didn’t even realize would be necessary for an international wedding. From making sure the bride and groom always had a plate of food (and ate their favorite dishes), to making sure that their regional foods were prepared according to their grandmother’s recipes, Sukhadia paid attention to every detail.

When it came to the quality of food… our guests are still talking about it. We heard nonstop compliments all weekend about how incredible every dish was. Beyond the food itself, their kindness, warmth, and hospitality made such an impact on everyone there.

If you are considering them for your wedding or event, do it without hesitation. They exceeded every expectation and played a huge part in making our wedding unforgettable.

I cannot say enough incredible things about Sukhadia Caterers. Choosing them for our wedding was honestly one of the proudest decisions we made throughout the entire planning process. To this day, it was the BEST wedding food I have ever had - I still cannot believe that it was served at our wedding. Every single dish was beautifully and uniquely plated without ever compromising flavor, warmth, or authenticity. They worked seamlessly alongside our wedding planner, local caterers, and venue in Mérida, Mexico, helping execute an incredibly complex destination wedding with such professionalism and grace.

A few things that made Sukhadia truly exceptional:

• The food was UNFORGETTABLE. From appetizers to desserts, every dish was a showstopper. We had Punjabi, Gujarati, Indo-Chinese, Trini, and Italian cuisine throughout the weekend, and somehow every menu felt cohesive, elevated, and deeply comforting all at once.

• They beautifully balanced tradition with personalization. Alongside beloved traditional dishes, they brought our personal favorites to life without hesitation—including a Trini doubles station and homemade cookie ice cream sandwiches.

• The sweets were incredible. Guests absolutely loved them, and their signature packaging added such an elegant touch. We were so relieved to be able to get sweets in Mexico because they made it happen!

• Shaivi is an absolute powerhouse. She not only understands weddings and events at every scale, but she understands family, people, and hospitality. She is calm under pressure, endlessly reassuring, flexible, and constantly problem-solving. Before planning a wedding, I never realized how many moving parts and unexpected issues arise - but trust me when I say you want Shaivi in your corner helping navigate them. Shout Out to Shaivi’s mom who is the OG (Strong women raise strong women!)

• Their team anticipates needs before they arise. One thing that stood out to us was how thoughtful they were during the planning process about refreshments and guest experience during key moments of the wedding weekend. That level of intuition and care is rare.

• Chef Oscar Garcia and Shaivi are an incredible team. You can tell they are constantly innovating, refining, and pushing themselves creatively while still maintaining authenticity and heart in every dish.

• The Sukhadia family truly embodies tradition, innovation, luxury, and warmth all at once. The food felt elevated and sophisticated while still carrying the comfort and love of home cooking. When you have a Punjabi/Gujurati wedding, quality food is a must, and they exceeded expectations.

You absolutely will never regret choosing Sukhadia for your event. They did not just cater our wedding - they helped create some of the most meaningful memories of our lives. I wish I could relive their food and the experience they provided over and over again.

Where do I even start?! From the tasting menu onwards we felt like we were so well taken care of. Our needs and wants were heard and implemented. The chef was responsive and listened to our feedback. The food was out of this world, the setup, the presentation.. just flawless! Shaivi and her team were worked very hard to curate an amazing menu for our son’s reception. I am so glad that we went with her team cause all I have heard from people was that the food was incredible!

A huge thank you to Sukhadia for the incredible job you did with the food. Our guests haven’t stopped raving about the South Indian thali lunch — the flavors and presentation were amazing. Dinner was outstanding — the chile relleno and paneer makhni ravioli were both huge hits — and everyone loved having a salad option too. The cocktail hour bites and late-night snacks were perfect (especially while everyone was dancing and drinking!). We know there were a ton of logistics with two venues and meals, but you made it all feel seamless. You gave us even more than we could have asked for. Our guests loved the sweet boxes, which were beautiful and delicious! We’re so thankful - it meant the world to have you bring our story to life through your food and be such a special part of the weekend.
