I will recommend Cocoon Silk to any and everyone. I didn't think that I would find The Dress, and was so pleased to hear about the dynamic duo that is Cocoon Silk. From the moment I walked in, I felt at ease. I told them what I was thinking, they did a quick sketch, and I was sold. This is a small family business, and they make you feel like family. They could also charge WAY more than they do, for the talent they possess, but don't tell them ;)

Sovann knocked it out of the park with my dress. I came to him with a photo of a dress I tried on and loved, and he helped me design something similar. I was nervous but as soon as I saw the finished product, I knew I had made the right choice. He was so accommodating to every request I made and also gave a LOT of guidance. A true artist who cares a lot about making a perfect product. My dress was stunning and a great bargain.

I ordered my dress in early april and it was ready by the end of May. The owner and his staff worked with me to make a flattering, simple dress, and also worked with me to make sure that i had all the accessories that I needed. I was very happy to work with them - I was able to have a beautiful, simple dress, at a great price, that was tailor made for me.

The staff at Cocoon silk and their dresses are amazing. They helped me create the perfect wedding dress and it was much more affordable than at normal retail stores. They did not charge any additional for alterations and worked on it until it was perfect. They also made the most gorgeous and reasonably priced bridesmaid dresses and dealt with my bridal party being spread across the country and only able to come into the store for final alterations right before the wedding. They made ties for all of the groomsmen that were very nice, matched the girls, and again were very reasonably priced. My mother flew in from Texas just to have her dress made too because our experience had been so good. Her dress was gorgeous! I trust Sovann explicitly. He knows exactly what will look good on each person and really makes sure each dress is individually made to be flattering. His styles are unique and gorgeous. I received so many compliments on my dress and I was comfortable all night.

My dress turned out absolutely perfect. They were able to help me design the dress (and I was totally clueless about what I wanted and about dresses in general) and stick within my strict budget! Everyone loved the dress and I felt wonderful in it. Thank you!!

Cocoon Silk is the best-kept wedding dress secret in Portland! In addition to my dress, my mom had her MOB dress made there, as well several of my bridesmaids. It was so fun being involved in the design process! The staff are lovely to work with, and the Cambodian silks and French laces they use are top-notch. They can handle last minute design changes and alterations, as I found out. Alterations are included in the price of your custom-made dress. I could not recommend Cocoon Silk more highly. Thank you!

I had a dream dress in mind. I stumbled on cocoon and they were able to make my dreams come true. You really win because your dress includes all alterations, tailoring and fitting. Savan and his staff gave great advice and we all worked together every step of the way. The dress was beautiful and I received lots of compliments on my beautiful age appropriate dress.

I also had Leslie Nibley make hair ornaments for me and 2 attendants. She has her own business but works in the shop. She did beautiful pieces with peacock feathers, silk and pearls for me and jewels for the girls. We had a "Great Gatsby" theme for our dresses, so these worked perfectly

Take your vision, pictures, dress anything you have that tells them what you are looking for and he will create your dream dress. I started looking for used dresses and found that Cocoon silk could meet my budget. I had a fairytale wedding with a fairytale dress. It was made for me. Unlike any one else's dress. It was mine. Perfect. I came back three times. It was fitted during my visits and ended up being very comfortable. I was in it for almost 12 hours. I didn't want to take it off. I didn't want the fairytale day to end. Go see Sevan. He will find the perfect style for your shape, the perfect material or lace for your perfect dress. You won't be sorry.

Cocoon Silk has been amazing at designing exactly what I wanted in a wedding dress. I had a very specific vision in mind. I looked around at pre-made dresses, but none of them had exactly what I wanted. When I went to Cocoon Silk, I showed them a picture of a dress that had basically what I wanted and told them other features that I wanted and they helped me decide on things I wasn't quite sure about. The owner is very knowledgeable and experienced and I have total confidence in him. I tried the dress on for a second time 2 weeks ago, and it was beautiful.
One of the great things about Cocoon Silk is how reasonable their prices are. The owner's family owns a silk farm in Cambodia, so they make their own silk, which keeps the cost down. And you can select materials to fit in your price range. I am having lace over the silk and I was able to choose a lace design that kept the total cost of the dress under $1000. For a custom made dress, I think that is a fabulous price. And the cost includes all the necessary alterations (bustle, hem, etc.)

Savoan made my wedding dress perfect to my hard to fit body type for less money than purchasing one through a wedding shop. I was able to chose my fabric and any color. I chose bluish/gray. Just a gorgeous job!
