Club Del Monte is now offering a new beach ceremony and reception site located at "Crocker's Cove" at the Naval Postgraduate's private bluff overlooking Monterey Bay. One of a kind location on Monterey Bay!

Club Del Monte a delightful wedding venue located in Monterey, California. Couples and their guests will be able to enjoy 25 acres of beautiful land that boasts oak, cypress, and pine trees. The original Hotel Del Monte, built in 1880, was destroyed by fire on two occasions. The rebuilt establishment now features a Spanish-Moorish aesthetic, an ode to its 1926 restoration. In 1951 it was rebranded from a hotel into a Naval postgraduate school. When couples and their guests set foot on this property, they are able to immerse themselves in traditions that span back through many decades. Notable guests of the club include presidents, military personnel, and noble members of society. The staff at this hotel are dedicated to making events special and unique for all. Hugh Butler, their executive chef, carefully curates each meal to make sure that it meets even the highest standards.

Facilities and Capacity

Club Del Monte has a selection of event spaces that may be used for a variety of celebrations. Couples are able to choose to make use of intimate patios or the grand Barbara McNitt Ballroom and now a private bluff overlooking Monterey Bay.

Crocker's Cove is a new addition to the Club's one of a kind event venues located directly above the beach overlooking Monterey Bay. Host a ceremony with your toes in the sand and ceremony under the stars. This exclusive private bluff is a location like no other in the world.

The Barbara McNitt Ballroom has a capacity of 1,000 for a standing occasion and 600 for a seated one. The ceiling boasts ornate sculptures as well as wrought-iron chandeliers. There is a fountain that creates a feature wall in the space, framed beautifully by floor-to-ceiling windows.

Booked in conjunction with the Barbara McNitt Ballroom, The Peacock Lawn has a spectacular view of Club Del Monte's European-style rose gardens that a couple's guests can admire as nuptials take place.

The El Prado Dining Room offers couples a historic event space. Here, 150 guests will be able to dance the night away on the cherrywood dance floor.

The La Novia Room allows couples to celebrate with 90 of their loved ones. Alternatively, the Roman Plunge Reflecting Pool provides a sunny spot for a ceremony, accommodating up to 100 individuals.
