Then when I threw a whole other new request at him a month out, he worked with me to make my vision come through. Patrick was on point with installation despite numerous challenges, and on the big day, I could see him running around making magic happen, all with a smile on his face. I highly recommend working with Patrick/City Iris. I had met with several other florists and it just didn’t feel right. Patrick is incredible! From the very beginning, he was understanding of our minimalist vision. He didn't try to upsell us or convince us to go bigger on florals, he stuck to our vision and only made it more classy, elegant, and timeless. Patrick was recommended by our venue who encouraged us to listen to and trust him. That's just what we did, and the results were magical. Patrick was helpful with not just florals, but with menus, place cards, table settings, etc. Everything was perfect. I had my wedding back in May and had so many compliments regarding my floral display from Patrick! I had a vision that was brought to life and even had a trial prior just to make sure everything turned out perfect. Patrick is super responsive with emails and answered all of my questions regarding pricing - modification requests - and more. I am a very visual person, so it was hard for me to verbalize what I imagined in my head. My theme was Winter in Old New York and the best I could offer were adjectives: Classic, elegant, shimmer/sparkle, clean, romantic and warm, which translated into effortless elegance. Patrick did more than deliver, he created a wedding that met and exceeded what I imagined- and then some.

He was enthusiastic, creative, sweet, fun, and supportive. No question or detail was too small, nor did he let me overlook things I never would have considered. He listened, offered alternatives, guided but never pushed, and was sensitive to our budget.

I could speak for hours about the magical feeling of his event design, his eye for detail and his ability to ensure grand but never gauche. The two best testaments I can give about his work is to say that 1) When I walked in, I got choked up by how beautifully stunning everything looked/felt, and 2) My mother walked in not realizing ours was the only wedding that day at the Boathouse and exclaimed "Wow, whose ever wedding this is, they really went all out on these amazing flowers and decorations!" She was more stunned when I clarified it was indeed our wedding.

I met Patrick at an event I was working in NYC. He had done all the florals for the event and I had just begun my wedding planning process. It was fate when we met. I loved his energy and creativity.
