Alexis is an absolute DREAM to work with. She has such an eye for beautiful, raw shots and is so incredibly sweet and wonderful to work with (even our guests were commenting on this!). She heard what we wanted, helped us decide what would be right for us, and more than delivered. She was there for me in more ways than one leading up to my wedding; I seriously feel like we became friends and that made her so easy to work with! Alexis and CLP were hands down the BEST part of our wedding experience. Alexis was a joy to work with every step of the way. We had a blast during our engagement session where we really got to bond before the big day. She is incredibly professional and eased all my wedding planning nerves and day of jitters. Our family and friends raved about how Alexis and her second photographer, Erika, made the whole experience of taking photos (which can be quite stressful) fun and effortless. Her effervescent personality and pure heart shows through everything she does. I was incredibly lucky to find Alexis at a wedding of a friend, before I even met my figure husband. Cannot speak highly enough of Alexis. My wife and I met Alexis in person ahead of choosing her as our photographer, and I immediately knew she was not only a talented photographer who would make our wedding look beautiful and memorable, but more importantly, that she was someone I was happy to have around on our wedding day. In my opinion, having a well-regarded photographer only means so much if you don't also enjoy their company - since they're gonna be hovering around you for most of this important day.

With regards to the results themselves, we were incredibly pleased. Alexis was timely in delivering photos, sent us a couple right after the wedding to fawn over, then gave us full digital access soon after - in 3 different file sizes, color and b&w, and sorted by event (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception etc). As we each went through them online, starring our favorite photos, she used this information when creating our album, in addition to going through multiple rounds of edits with us in order to achieve our perfect keepsake.

One last little fun anecdote that I think might separate Alexis from other photographers - we found that she had a knack for starting to shoot posed photos before everyone got set, which resulted in a number of wonderfully candid shots. My mother's extended side of the family is particularly known for being loud, and when we all began assembling for a group shot, Alexis snapped a fantastic photo of the group gathering with seemingly every single person's mouth open because they were either talking, shouting, or laughing. The posed photo is there for official ancestry's sake, but the candid perfectly encapsulates everything about that side of the family. And I truly believe Alexis was the right photographer for catching the essence of what makes the family and day as a whole so special.

Of the dozens of people we needed to work with at our wedding, Alexis was by far our favorite. We sought her out for her style - natural, candid, genuine. But she was also the most professional, punctual, prepared and FUN person to work with. She was on top of absolutely everything and we were so well taken care of.

Its been a while since we got married, but her style of photography really allows us to relive the day. There are no stuffy portraits, just beautifully captured natural moments that really paint a picture of what it was like to be there.

Alexis is amazing! My wife and I ran across one of her wedding albums while we were venue shopping and fell in love with her work. We reached out to her before we even set a date for our wedding.
