I purchased Chris's Sirius meteorite in 18k yellow gold men's ring for my wedding band. I couldn't be happier. The ring is stunning and simple, durable, classy and natural. I get many compliments on the ring, with people asking what it is made of. When they learn it is meteorite, that immediately starts an interesting conversation. Stuff about heavens and earth.

Chris Ploof has several different designs with different metals, including Damascus steel, and Mokume gane. But, to me, his meteorite rings are the most unique I've ever seen. It's truly a work of art.

I purchased the ring at Greenwich Jewelers in New York, but there are several store locations across the country that carry Chris's rings. Check out his website to see examples of his work.

We purchased my husband's wedding band from Chris Ploof when we met him at Don Muller Gallery in Northampton, MA.

My husband had seen a mokume ring 20 or so years ago and admired the craftsmanship and beauty of the different metals blended together to make a unique piece of jewelry. Fast forward, and Chris told us that the ring my husband saw so many years ago was created by the man who taught Chris this craft. We were so thrilled to actually meet Chris after admiring his pieces while searching for the right ring for my husband. He's a super nice guy, as well as a tremendous artist.

Chris' studio created the wedding ring in a few weeks, and we were thrilled with the beauty and craftsmanship of this custom piece. They also were able to engrave it with a personal sentiment and our wedding date.

We love our custom mokume ring, Chris. Thank you!
