Chelsea Abril is Amazing!
We really cannot thank Chelsea enough for capturing our wedding! We got preview pictures two days after the wedding and they all look absolutely incredible! We could have never imagined our wedding photos being so beautiful! We’ve seen so many wedding photo shoots in preparation for our big day and we can’t believe that it’s us in those pictures now!
It was also our first time meeting Chelsea in person at our wedding and it’s safe to say that we (and our families for that matter) fell in love with her. She charmed Jewish mothers, made bridesmaids and groomsmen laugh and she even stopped a 5 year old cousin's meltdown. There are a lot of amazing photographers in Hawaii, but Chelsea is truly a gem! I have been blessed to work with her many times and I have been able to observe her as a professional, an artist and a colleague (turned dear friend). What I can tell you is this... From the first communication with her, my clients are instantly put at ease with her genuine charm and desire to make their wedding photos great. She exudes a positive and excited vibe that somehow makes you even more excited to get married. This energy carries over to the wedding day where she is miraculously able to direct and entertain her subjects while at the same time taking the most amazingly natural and candid photos. Not only have I observed her technique during my clients' weddings, but I have also had the pleasure of being the subject of a few of her photos. Having had professional portraits taken before, I knew how awkward and un photogenic I could be, but to my very pleasant surprise I had a really hard time deciding between 80 stellar images! National Tropical Botanical Garden recently hosted a wedding, photo shoot at the McBryde Garden at the Waterfall location. It was an amazing morning, beautiful weather and what a happy playful couple. Chelsea was fabulous with a beautiful personality, easy going and super detailed oriented. For every photo shot she would ask the couple to move and pose in so many different ways to create that perfect photo. Great job! I would highly recommend Chelsea Abril Photography.
