We chose Mike Yeaney for our photographer. We not only wanted spectacular photos (which I could easily see from his website), but we wanted someone we would immediately feel at ease with, which would bring out my husband's real smile (which isn't easy to do). Mike is an easy going, funny guy you feel like you're old friends with. I exchanged a couple of direct emails with him and he assured me that no matter the location we chose, we didn't have to worry about other couples in our photos (he was spot on - there was another wedding at Makena Cove at our same time and we hardly even knew they were there!) Mike made us laugh and we were able to just be ourselves - and because of his demeanor and expertise behind the lens, we have the most amazing pictures!

Mike was such a pleasure to work with. My husband and I are not the most photogenic and Mike made the entire experience so much fun. We scheduled a sunset wedding and received a surprise rain storm. Knowing that I was a little (or extremely) stressed as we were unable to continue with photos at our chosen location...and with the sun quickly setting, Mike was able to move our location and create photos that still bring me tears of happiness when I look at them. Mike exudes confidence and can make any bride feel at ease. He was reassuring, funny and one of the kindest people I have met.
