We'd use him again!

We chose Mike Yeaney for our photographer. We not only wanted spectacular photos (which I could easily see from his website), but we wanted someone we would immediately feel at ease with, which would bring out my husband's real smile (which isn't easy to do). Mike is an easy going, funny guy you feel like you're old friends with. I exchanged a couple of direct emails with him and he assured me that no matter the location we chose, we didn't have to worry about other couples in our photos (he was spot on - there was another wedding at Makena Cove at our same time and we hardly even knew they were there!) Mike made us laugh and we were able to just be ourselves - and because of his demeanor and expertise behind the lens, we have the most amazing pictures!

Outstanding job with capturing evert perfect moment!

Mike Yeany Photography did an outstanding job capturing the most perfect photos from our 25th wedding anniversary vow renewal. Mike did a fantastic job making sure every single step of the renewal was captured. I get teary-eyed every time I look at the pictures. I highly recommend Mike Yeany Photography for weddings and vow renewals.

Mike Yeany was our photographer and did an incredible job! Mike is an incredibly talented, professional, and friendly photographer with a great personality that did amazing work from start to finish. He was very easy to work with and instantly made us feel comfortable. He is very passionate about what he does and took the most amazing photographs for our special day. He was a pleasure to work with and made sure we had a variety of outstanding photos. He truly goes above and beyond and we couldn’t be any more pleased with his work. Carl was our videographer and did a wonderful job despite a small amount of rain we had. The way Mike and Carl worked together you would have thought they had been doing it for years. Both Mike and Carl had a great sense of humor and just the right amount of personal touch, putting everything at ease all while capturing a beautiful sunset.
Thank you, Mike, Carl, & Reverend Richard for truly an amazing wedding day. We couldn’t be any more impressed and happy with everything Maui Aloha Weddings provided for us! We are incredibly grateful and forever blessed!

Mike was such a pleasure to work with. My husband and I are not the most photogenic and Mike made the entire experience so much fun. We scheduled a sunset wedding and received a surprise rain storm. Knowing that I was a little (or extremely) stressed as we were unable to continue with photos at our chosen location...and with the sun quickly setting, Mike was able to move our location and create photos that still bring me tears of happiness when I look at them. Mike exudes confidence and can make any bride feel at ease. He was reassuring, funny and one of the kindest people I have met. I would recommend Mike for any event that you need a photographer.We look forward to working with Mike again and again knowing he will always capture our happiest and most cherished moments. We would not trust this job to anyone else.

Mike is a professional in every sense. He has a knack of saying the right thing to put everyone at ease. His personality is well suited for dealing with people and he is a pleasure to work with and his demeanor is light and easy going. His passion for photography and making sure the product is the best it can be is obvious but it is never forced on his clients. Our photos exceeded our expectations. He made our wedding and photo shoot a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend his services to anyone looking for a wedding to remember.

Mike did an amazing job, we have beautiful pictures that will last a lifetime. He was very accommodating with relocating because of weather and was exceptional with keeping our kids involved in our ceremony and pictures. Would hire him again and again!

I had the wedding of my dreams thanks to Mike Yeany and Maui Aloha Weddings! Mike is one of those people that is very professional, yes, but makes you feel so comfortable quickly! He is warm, funny, easy to talk to and ask requests of! My husband and I changed our wedding date to work around his schedule because his work is really THAT GOOD! Upon working with him, I quickly realized that if I lived in Maui we would be friends:) I would and have recommended him to anyone! AMAZING photographer!!!! Maui Aloha Weddings were wonderful to work with. They made planning a wedding so effortless and professional. Mike Yeany did such a wonderful job on our photos and marrying us! Of course we were a bit nervous but working with Mike eased our nerves to where we had an awesome experience. The whole mixing of the sand and tying of the knot I thought were great! Look no further for a fantastic person to handle your photography in Maui! Mike's pictures are obviously beautiful, but what you can't see is how beautiful of a person he is. He went out of his way to make sure we got the pictures we wanted on our wedding day. We had been imagining taking sunset pictures for months, but mother nature had something else in store- thick clouds and no sunset so Mike changed locations to a beautiful forest location where we got amazing pictures. This meant he had to drive to the other side of the island for us, which he gladly did. He was very accommodating, super nice and has a great vibe about him. I would use him again for family photos the next time we are in Maui. Thank you so much Mike!

Mike did a great job with our recent beach wedding on Maui. Although he was fighting the wind and less than photogenic subject he was able to get some fantastic shots. He was through but flexible while making our big day special. The pictures were available within a couple of days and downloading was easy and quick. Mike also performed our ceremony which was also superb. Highly recommend him for both the service as well as the photography!

Mike was incredible as a minister and photographer! He even went as far as to deliver a package to our hotel prior to ceremony! He was a fabulous photographer and gave us many many great memories to last forever! Would highly recommend him!!!

MIke was awesome my wife and I got married during sunset at Napili Bay. The sun was super bright as it was setting like many days on Maui and the pictures were absolutely stunning. The process was painless and Mike is a very easy person to communicate with and we couldn't be more thrilled with the results!!!

Absolutely the best wedding experience ever! We are sure we had the best minister on the island as we couldn't imagine it any more special. The ceremony was joyous, filled with light laughter and very romantic and extremely special. Michael interacted with us as he had probably done this a thousand times. The ceremony flowed smoothly and I can't say enough how Michael made this event the best wedding ceremony ever. If we could give him 10 stars out of 5 we would definitely give it. Where do I start with Mike Yeany!! He is the best! He is so down to earth, the whole photo shoot felt so comfortable with him. He really pays attention to detail, he will walk you through everything before he starts the photo shoot. Mike Yeany had my husband and I laughing and having fun the whole hour!! Mike Yeany is not only an amazing photographer, he made the whole eexperience so memorable. As soon as he arrived at the hotel to take some pre ceremony photos I felt at ease and he made me laugh and I was just excited to get some photos taken. We then got to the ceremony and the pictures were sent to me a few days later and every picture was more beautiful than the last. It was an amazing experience and I know I would've regretted going with any one else but Mike. He is the best!!

Mike was awesome for our wedding. We weren't sure what to expect when booking a wedding from out of state but he blew away all our expectations. He performed our ceremony and photos. He was genuine and super down to earth; it made our big day special and stress free. My husband enjoyed our ceremony so much that he is hoping to book Mike to renew our vows down the road. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone!

We renewed our vows in Maui and Mike was our photographer. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer! He is very professional and friendly - he says the right things to capture special moments in the pictures. Mike listened to our likes/dislikes of what we wanted and captured perfect moments. He also performed our renewal and he was the perfect fit for us! I was a little skeptical waiting to get the 'money' sunset shot but it was worth it! If Mike says it's worth waiting for, he knows what he is talking about!! We have fabulous pictures and a truly beautiful vow renewal album! Thank you Mike for capturing our special day perfectly!

Michael was amazing as our minister/photographer, all in one!! He is super nice, flexible, collaborative, and funny! Our granddaughters (4.5 & 2.5) were in our ceremony and he captured the most beautiful photos of the girls in their little white dresses standing on the beach, looking out at the ocean. I've already recommended Michael to a friend who is looking to renew their vows on the beach. You won't be disappointed.

We couldn't be happier with our photos. Most importantly, Mike and Ian (video) made it so much fun to take pictures after the ceremony. We typically aren't into getting our photos taken but they were very patient and made us laugh through the whole process. Highly recommend!!!

Mike was awesome and took beyond amazing photos! Friends commented that they were the best wedding photos they have ever seen. Mike was our photographer through Maui Aloha Weddings. I read a review on Maui Aloha Weddings where someone suggested using Mike so we requested him. We were so happy we did. Mike did an amazing job. He kept my husband and I both laughing - which made the pictures look genuine. We also had some ideas of what type of pictures we wanted and Mike was very accommodating. Not to mention the photos looked very professional and awesome! The turnaround for getting the photos was very prompt (within a few days) and Mike made it easy to navigate and select our photos. Overall it was a fantastic experience.

Also - my husband and I decided to ditch our wedding plans in Chicago and elope in Maui. The photographer we were going to use in Chicago is one a friend had at her wedding. I think that Mike did a way better job capturing our wedding day than the photographer we were going to use. Although the beach may have helped to make awesome photos, mike is really talented and great to work with!

Mike is THE BEST! He responds quickly to emails, which is critical for a destination wedding, makes you feel like you're his priority and does just about anything to make YOU happy! Mike was able to get us our edited pictures the day of the wedding, which is unheard of! I would highly recommend Mike for your photography needs! We got married on the beach, therefore people were in the ocean, and he did such a fantastic job with the angles that you can't even see anyone in our pictures!

Mike Yeany did a fantastic job at our wedding in Maui! He suggested a beautiful beach and perfect time of day for spectacular sunset photos. Mike was so great to work with...he even took funny pictures of our teenage daughters spoofing traditional wedding poses. (Those photos are everyone's favorite!). Mike took every last opportunity to take photos...until the last usable light was gone. He even stayed after to talk about lenses with my daughter (a novice photographer).
I highly recommend Mike Yeany as your wedding photographer. He will do a spectacular job capturing your special day so that it lasts forever!!!

Mike shot our elopement and we had so much fun! Even though he and his wife just had a baby a day before he miraculously had so much energy and professionalism to devote to our day. He was a great director and lined us up for shots, waiting till the onlookers passed so it appeared we were on an empty beach! He made sure on a windy day my hair was out of my face, and even fixed a flower that had fallen from my hair. We couldn't wait to see those photos and boy did he deliver! He delivered them soon after we asked to see them, I think I waited only 3 days to bug him about it. He mentioned it normally takes weeks to deliver, understandably. We couldn't be happier with the outcome.

My husband and I are not very comfortable when it comes to having our photos taken, so we were nervous about photos on our wedding day! We are also living in the UK at the moment, and had never been to Hawaii, so didn't know what to expect. I can not recommend Mike enough! He made us both feel very relaxed and made the whole experience fun and easy going. He told us exactly what to do for some great pics but was also open to things that we wanted to do. I can't even begin to express what an amazing photographer Mike is. When my husband and I decided to elope in Maui, the hunt was on for a vendor that could provide an outstanding photographer. I came upon the Maui Aloha Weddings website and could not believe the quality of photographs posted which were taken by Mike. I immediately contacted Maui Aloha Weddings and booked my wedding through them when they told me that Mike was available on our wedding date.

I understand that Mike also officiates weddings but I wasn't having that - he needed to take photos of our special moment! Mike was just beyond fantastic. We had a wind issue at Po'olenalena Beach, but Mike was able to angle it to where my hair wasn't all over the place. In some shots I look like a model with one of those wind machines. For our sunset photos, we literally had about 2 minutes to grab the needed shots due to the cloud cover. Fortunately, Mike was such a pro that we got the most amazing beach sunset photos with our limited sunset time. Everyone that sees our wedding photos say that they are the best they have ever seen and that the sunset photos are stunning, which they absolutely are. Mike was fun to work with and worked well with the videographer. My husband and I, who are both very serious about our photography hobby, could not have been more pleased with Mike's work.

Amazing. My expectations of Mike's work were over exceeded. I looked thru his portfolio before I chose Mike as my photographer. I was impressed. I'm self conscious and don't like pictures of myself so I was not expecting much. We couldn’t have asked for an easier wedding planning process. Peggy took the stress out of planning a destination wedding and turned it into an event that everyone was able to enjoy. We loved our officiant Charles Nahale, whose talent for singing and playing the ukulele added an extra special touch to our ceremony. My husband and I renewed our vows last Tuesday morning at Ironwood Beach. My husband and I took photos with Mike on a gorgeous Maui beach. When my wife and I first started talking to Mike, we knew we were going to like him. Mike was very professional with a fun spirit that made us feel comfortable right away. He took well framed shots and some candid photos that really captured our personalities.

Mike had some great beach recommendations for our shoot and we were each scouting locations as some rain clouds started to roll in. However a little rain didn't stop Mike or our photo shoot, and I feel it enhanced our experience. In fact we were having such a good time that I was willing to throw myself in the ocean after misinterpreting Mikes instructions. We all had a laugh and captured a few more shots before we fled from the rain.

Mike had a quick turnaround and got us our stunning photos before we even left the island. We have recommended him to all of our friends and family that will be visiting the island.

Mike was our minister and our photographer. We loved our photos so much we bought them all! We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a simple, beautiful beach wedding on Maui.

MIke Yeany Photography made our special day so easy and stress free! We only had to show up and meet Mike at our pick of beautiful beaches! Mike is great and made us feel very comfortable. I am so happy with our pictures he took, such a great experience!

We highly recommend Michael Yeany Photography! Michael became a “part of the family” during the ceremony, fitting right in. He captured candid moments, and orchestrated traditional as well as more personalized scenarios. He utilized every moment of the sunset, creating gorgeous pictures in the ever-changing light. Michael’s photography of our wedding is phenomenal, beautifully capturing poignant interactions with the absolutely spectacular backdrops of Maui beach, ocean and sunset. We had no choice but to purchase EVERY one of the photos he took, as we could not eliminate a one!

We booked our wedding through Maui Aloha Weddings last year in September. Mike is a kind, understanding and professional photographer! Being a little camera shy, he will make you feel right at home in front of the camera. Mike was our wedding photographer and the guy who kept everything in order. He is not only a great guy in general, but also one of those people who just have an eye for seeing things most people don't. He's an artist and photography is his craft. In short, you want this guy to take your pictures all the time, every day. Just make us all look great, all of the time, Mike!

Honestly though, our pictures have been labeled by friends and family as "the most beautiful wedding photos anyone has ever seen".

I booked my wedding renewal through Maui Aloha Weddings and Mike was our officiant and photographer. The ceremony brought tears to my eyes and Mike was understanding and told me to take my time. Mike was very friendly and helpful throughout the day, you can tell he loves what he does as it reflect in his work. It can be difficult to pose on the beach with a gown and veil working against you but Mike made my husband and I feel at ease and laugh throughout our shoot. The pictures came out beautiful! You will definitely be glad you chose Mike Yeany.

Maui aloha weddings has reasonable prices! Peggy was just amazing. We had a last minute wedding and by last minute I mean within 2-3 days. Peggy was able to get us what we wanted. The beach we picked was beautiful and very empty, which was what we wanted. Mike was wonderful to work with. He kept it nice, sweet and short, which is what we wanted. And Mike captured our special moments.

I am so glad Mike was our photographer. We used Maui Aloha Weddings as our wedding planner, so we didn't know Mike beforehand. He was so friendly and had lots of great idea's for poses, and his pictures turned out fabulous!!! I was nervous not meeting him before our wedding, but I definitely had nothing to worry about!! He was so personal, made the event relaxing and memorable! He was very prompt in getting the pictures ready for us to view, and choose which one's we wanted. Which ended up being more difficult than I expected because of his great skills! Thank you Mike for being part of our wonderful day!!!

Mike did a fantastic job! He is cool, funny, professional & just a blast to be around! I spoke to him for almost an hour with a few personal concerns I had before our wedding. He was able to recommend a good time to be married for optimal photo lighting. I had chosen Maui Aloha weddings mainly due to Mike's work. I saw his work and was very impressed. The pictures came out better than I could have ever imagined. Everyone that sees our photos says they look like they belong in a magazine. We ended up buying all of our photos because they were all so beautiful! Peggy & Mike were both so great to deal with. Mike even went out of his way to find a piece of wood for me to make a sign with. He sent me a picture and measurements. Peggy was able to accommodate some last minute changes to our flower order (as we had a surprise guest). Mike recommended a beautiful restaurant that was close by and right on the beach to take all of our guests to and the meal was delicious as well. Maui Aloha Weddings was extremely affordable and quality is not sacrificed. I shopped so many other places and researched many other photographers. Some photographer packages were more than what I paid for our entire wedding package from MAW. I can't say enough about MAW. The planning was seamless and stress free as was our wedding day.

Mike was great. He wasn't afraid to get down in the sand and get dirty. He was able to get a ton of great and unique shots. I would recommend him to anyone. He is funny and has a great personality. We hope to see him again!!!!!
