CG & Co Events is full service, luxury wedding and event planning company based in the Washington, D.C. area that specializes in helping you design, plan and perfectly coordinate your wedding or event. Our team is highly experienced in planning all types of weddings & events. Our founder has specialized in South Asian and Multicultural weddings for over 13 years and was previously the sole South Asian and Multicultural specialist with another D.C. based planning firm. Whether you are planning an elaborate multi-day South Asian affair or an intimate dinner party to celebrate an elopement, we would love to help guide you through every step of the planning process. Our team has extensive experience in vendor recommendation, vendor negotiations, custom event design and we would love to share our experience with you.

Modern Indian Wedding

Christine and her team are PHENOMENAL and I cannot recommend them enough. Christine is incredibly prompt, responsive, organized, pragmatic and absolutely wonderful to work with. She has an incredible eye for design and was able to turn my vision board for each event into a reality.

We utilized Christine's full planning services for an Indian-American wedding, and I am so happy we did. Our wedding went so smoothly, everything ran on time, and the best part is that I was able to show up to my event as a guest. Christine and her team made sure that as the bride, I was relaxed and well taken care of all weekend. There was always someone around to refill my champagne or grab me a bite to eat, and she and her team had truly thought of everything we would need to enjoy the weekend.

I can't say enough good things about CG & Co. Events, and highly highly recommend them!

The Robin to my Batman

Sarah and her assistant Cara were absolutely essential to our day. From the moment we started working together, she helped keep us on track and organized with planning meetings, timelines, and constant guidance. I found and booked all of our vendors, but Sarah is the one who pulled everything together and made it all work seamlessly.

She’s incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and so easy to work with. We leaned on her a lot during those final 90-60-30 day check-ins, and I fully trusted her with every detail. That trust made all the difference — I was truly able to enjoy my wedding without stressing over logistics. If anything went wrong, I still don’t know about it.

She has such a calm and confident presence. Highly organized, super friendly, and just fantastic to work with. I can’t recommend her and the CG & Co. team enough.

3 days, 300 people, NYC - Christine's team is amazing!

Working with Christine was probably the best decision we made in the wedding planning process. From start to finish, she brought great energy, excellent recommendations, and appreciation for every small detail.

We initially chose Christine when we were planning to do our wedding in DC, which then turned into Mexico, and finally landed on NYC. She was with us every step of the way, and while we were initially nervous about not choosing a planner in the area it ended up working out great. And if anyone is wondering how she will do with a cultural/traditional wedding, she was aware of more Hindu traditions than our own moms! Christine has great relationships with all of the best South Asian wedding vendors throughout the East Coast (and West!) so you can trust her judgment on what will work for your budget and vision.

The two best things working with Christine were 1) she will ALWAYS advocate for the couple, no matter what and with whom 2) the weekend of the wedding her meticulous planning and wonderful team really shone. Spending a year planning means nothing if things go awry on the actual day, and both of our families were super impressed by how every single thing was handled - getting a horse and 180 people down a New York City block is not for the weak. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The Best Wedding Planner Ever!!

Christine and her team were absolutely incredible to work with. Christine was with us every step of the way as we planned our multi-day wedding weekend and was excellent in helping us define and bring our vision to life. On our wedding weekend everything was absolutely seemless and the timelines we had created were perfect down to the minute. Our parents were very very happy with how she interacted with our families and how much she took into account traditions and values that were important to us. Many of our friends and families told us it was one of the best weddings they had attended. Our wedding and the weekend were an absolute dream come true and all was in thanks to Christine and her team.

Magical Palm Beach FL wedding

Our wedding was perfect. Christine from early planning stages was in the details organizing our vendors and came to town in advance of our wedding day to work with the hotel and came again for the day of and handled every detail of the wedding day from beginning to end. Such a great experience. Lifesavers on the big day!

We worked with The Company by CG & Co for day-of wedding coordination. Our coordinator, Sarah Obenour, and her assistant, Josh, were lifesavers on our wedding day. We forgot our marriage license at the hotel, and they went back to get it so we could actually get married! Sarah also whipped up a lovely boutonnière that we forgot to bring one to portraits. They kept us on-schedule and organized throughout the day.

Sarah organized all of our walk-throughs and built a day-of timeline that ensured we got to experience all of our priority moments on the big day. She also had vendor recommendations to fill a couple of last-minute holes in our planning that all provided 5-star experiences. We would definitely recommend a day-of coordinator for any couple planning their own wedding — and The Company is a great choice!

Absolutely incredible planner

When we first got in touch with Christine last year, we absolutely loved her enthusiasm! We knew we needed someone organized who knew what ‘we didn’t know’ and how to execute that. She came through so many times with unconventional ideas that aligned perfectly with our vision. We had a whirlwind of a year with a small wedding in March and planned for a big celebration in September, an unconventional welcome mehndi/sangeet and a rooftop reception; in two different locations. Christine understood the assignment and killed it! She helped my (and my husband’s) vision come to life with details I didn't even know were possible. She also understood our budget and was always ready with a backup plan should something be too expensive or even if we didn’t particularly like a style. Fun BUT not fun story – our 4 tier wedding cake fell during delivery and Christine magically put parts of it together and had cake available for our guests – god bless her! She was an ease to work with and helped both our families feel celebrated (we are a mixed culture couple Indian/Salvadorian). I really could write a 10 page essay about how helpful and amazing she was – I am so thankful for her and just the immense amount of hard work she put in to make our day as special as it was.

Wonderful experience

I hired CG & Co events for day of coordination about two weeks out from my wedding, when I finally accepted I can't handle all of the last minute coordination on my own, and I am so so so happy I did. Christine helped me have a completely stress-free wedding day, something I am sure would not have been the case otherwise. She and her team were professional, attentive, and followed through on every last detail. My only regret is not hiring them sooner - everything went perfectly and I have Christine and her team to thank for that! This will be the best investment you make for your wedding!

Extremely Attentive and Helpful

We hired Christine and team as our day of coordinator. She was very helpful from the start. She has a lot of experience particularly with south Asian weddings. We were very stressed through the initial wedding planning stages and after talking to her, specially about what she would be able to provide for us on the wedding day, we felt at ease. On the day of, her and her team worked effortlessly to accommodate us with our needs and made sure our day went flawlessly. It was so helpful to have someone from her team constantly with us throughout the day. That made us less stressed out. We recommend her for your planning needs. Thanks Christine & team!
