We don’t have enough good things to say about Rick and Michele of Cedarbrook Barn! From the day we toured the venue until even now, a month after our wedding, they have been so amazing! They are very responsive and communicate about whatever you may need. We live five minutes from the venue so would drop by once in a while to see it set up for other weddings or just to try out our ideas. They are more than welcoming and want to ensure you enjoy the space and your big day. They help with parking guests rhe day of and also have a covered wagon which you dq use to transport your guests the pond and bridge for pictures. You get the venue from Tuesday through Sunday, which was a game changer for us. I didn’t want a venue where we had to set up at 9am and be out by 11pm that night. This way, we could bring things in throughout the week and set everything up the way we wanted. We could also come in the day after the wedding to cleanup, which really allowed us to enjoy our day. There is space upstairs as a bridal suite which we utilized to get ready. They have a list of recommended vendors as well who are familiar with the site. We went with their bar recommendation which was perfect for our needs. All of our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful the venue is and how it is really one of eastern CT’s best kept secrets. I would go with them again in a heartbeat!

Cedarbrook Barn was everything my husband and I wanted in a venue and more. The couple that owns the barn, Rick and Michelle, are absolutely wonderful. They were quick to respond to any questions that we had and always helped to make our vision come true whenever they could. We will always highly recommend the barn to anyone in search of a venue!

This rustic barn is the way to go! 5 minutes from the highway. It’s a place to decorate as you please. You have a few days to put your vision together. Rick is very helpful with giving recommendations for different vendors. We had 140 guests and rented a tent/tables/chairs from CT Rentals. The venue has a covered bridge, dock on the pond, and gorgeous scenery in the woods.
