Elizabeth and Joe have the most magnificent property and we were so fortunate to be able to experience it on our wedding day. Joe and Elizabeth are top-notch people who take such pride in their venue. Not only are they wonderful professionals, but they are incredible people; kind, compassionate, and thoughtful. Working with them as our venue vendor was a dream come true. My husband and I were blessed with the most beautiful October day and got to share their extraordinary gardens and grounds with all of our friends and family. They were so easy to work with and so receptive and responsiveness. My husband and I will always feel at home at The Salem Herbfarm.

This venue is what dreams are made of. I got married here and the family is so sweet and attentive. I will be visiting in passing because I'm obsessed and slightly sad that my wedding is over haha!

This place is magnificent! From the moment we stepped onto the property we knew that it would be the perfect place for us to get married. The gardens are stunning, there are multiple options of places to hold a ceremony or reception, and the handmade touches around the grounds were beautiful. On our wedding day we got the experience the joy of seeing our guests walking around the venue, taking pictures of the property, and in the gardens. The fire-pits and outdoor lighting was perfect once the sun went down, and allowed us (and our guests) to experience a magical scene. Since our wedding day, we have had family and friends reach out to both of us and tell us numerous times that this was the best wedding that they had ever been to, specifically because it was the most beautiful venue they have been to. We both have to agree with our guests’ assessments. We had our ceremony by the fountain, cocktail hour under the tent, dinner, first dances, and cake cutting in the greenhouse and then the late night dancing and desserts in the barn. The whole venue was used, which we thought made the day so much more special. Our guests were able to be anywhere on the property that made them comfortable. There were always quiet spaces and chairs around the fire pits for those who were not dancing, or just people needed a break from the music. We also had several lawn games set up in the garden area as an option for our guests to enjoy throughout the evening. We will admit that the one thing we were nervous about was that a noise ordinance required of all late night music to be in the barn. I (husband) was not too thrilled with this news when I first found out about it because we had originally wanted to be outdoors the entire evening, but the more my wife and I thought about it and talked with the venue coordinator, Elizabeth, the more we could see the benefits of this change. After the wedding, we both agreed having this change made the whole wedding ebb and flow so nicely, gave more opportunities to our guests, and also was perfect for a summer evening. In addition to the property being absolutely amazing, the people who you meet within your experience there are equally as wonderful. Elizabeth is so unbelievably warm, friendly, caring, professional, and genuine. We felt a strong connection with Elizabeth from the first walk through, she was open and honest with us as we were with her, and it was evident that she truly wanted the day to be perfect for us. She was open to all questions, all ideas, and worked with us to make this day so so special. We walked through the venue multiple times throughout our wedding planning process, and Elizabeth was so accommodating to us throughout the year leading up to our big day. We enjoyed working with her as our wedding coordinator, however, we know that working with her in any capacity would be a fantastic experience. Joe was also wonderful, and built many of the pieces of both furniture and garden art that you will see on the property. It was some of these truly special personal touches that made us want to be married here. Again, we cannot say enough about how wonderful EVERY aspect of the Salem Herb Farm was. We encourage anyone to go visit and see how truly beautiful it is. Salem Herb Farm Family, thank you for being there for our needs and wants, as well as being awesome people! Everyone involved truly made our fairytale wedding come true, and we could not be more appreciative!

We had the pleasure of holding our wedding at the Salem Herbfarm on 5-5-23. The owners, Elizabeth and her dad Joe are absolutely the best people you will ever meet. They made us feel like family from day one. We were planning our wedding from out of state and on a short fused timeline. After my initial call with Elizabeth confirming availability, she instantly called some of her favorite vendors (photographers, dj and caterer) and within a couple hours I had pretty much everything booked. It was amazing. The wedding was truly like a fairy tale. This venue is gorgeous even more stunning in person. Our guests have all stated it’s hands down the best venue they’ve ever been to. From the moment we stepped foot into the Herbfarm we knew it was the one. There were so many different places and back drops to take photos and the whole garden was filled with different flowers and trees. The staff here was also AMAZING. I can't speak enough about these 2. Joe and Elizabeth were incredible. I only spoke with Joe with over email but he answered every question I had. Elizabeth was so incredibly helpful. She helped set up day of, she set up our table arrangement the week before for us to see how everything was going to be set up, and she answered my 8 thousand text messages I had for her. She met us there multiple times for us to peak around the venue or to practice our first dance in the space in the barn. She was also so helpful throughout the entire day as well. She made our families feel comfortable throughout the whole day and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. She definitely made the whole planning process less stressful for me. And the venue itself was so beautiful. We had so many beautiful flowers that were blooming for our wedding day. If you're looking for a venue for your wedding, this one is definitely worth every penny.

The Salem Herbfarm is a truly spectacular venue. We honestly cannot believe how lucky we are to have found it. We got married in June and it was STUNNING with so many gorgeous flowers everywhere—the landscaping is amazing and it was just truly an incredibly beautiful place to get married. What might be less obvious from photos is that the space is also extremely open, which makes for a really magical vibe for guests to mingle during the cocktail hour and reception of a wedding. There are so many lovely spaces for guests to spread out and enjoy each other and the beautiful venue and SO many of our guests were raving to us about how perfect the space was as a result. We did the reception in the outdoor greenhouse space and loved it so much; it was just perfect for dinner and dancing on a warm summer night!!!

We also loved working with Joe, Elizabeth, and Hannah. They were all so kind and warm and relaxed/accommodating, and also super professional and responsive. They always answered questions right away and had clear and reliable communication. And on the day of the wedding they were so helpful in working with our people (planner, vendors, family, etc) to make our vision come to life!!! We honestly couldn’t recommend this venue more strongly and think it was a truly incredible find/deal. We will forever be grateful to the Salem Herbfarm!!! Thank you!!!

Hi! Joey and I got married here a couple weekends ago and had the best day of our lives! The grounds are stunning and are beyond gorgeous year round. Joe and Elizabeth bust their butts behind the scenes to make sure your event is beautiful and perfect. Joe has worked on, renovated, or built just about everything on the property and is incredibly skilled at his craft to say the least. Elizabeth is a fantastic listener and will be your biggest supporter throughout the planning process.
Joey and I are still on cloud 9, even a week out AND all of our guests were blown away by the facility. Rain or shine, the entire property is equipped to help you host your vision of a perfect event! My husband and I saw this place online and it was NOTHING like the pictures, initially. We were in awe, and fell in love with it from the start. Joe and Annie went above and beyond for us and stood behind us every step of the way, even through COVID. They were willing to do whatever it took to make things perfect. We went several times just to see how things were blooming, all the projects joe did; etc. between November and our wedding on 10/10. Joe is always building, painting, laying stone, always something. Every visit is more beautiful than the last. We highly recommend this venue and I am already trying to figure out the next event I can plan there!

In 2016 - before the recent improvements - my eldest daughter and her husband got married at "the Herbfarm" - and my wife (not my daughter's mom) and I had our wedding reception there. The Herbfarm was a great venue then and it's spectacular now. More, clients and guests won't find more diligent, attentive, practical and honest hosts than the owners, Anne and Joe Duncan.
