When my husband and I started planning our wedding at Haiku I Do, working with Catering By Corey (CBC) was an absolute certainty. From the start, Corey worked closely with us to craft and refine the perfect menu, which began with a fantastic to-go tasting put together by Chef Hannah. On the wedding day, Chef Michael, Catering Captain Anastasiia, and the entire crew made everything seamless. Anastasiia kept us feeling pampered all night, ensuring that we had everything we needed and even bringing us special plates so we could skip the buffet line.

The food itself was nothing short of spectacular. In fact, a large portion of our wedding guests were professional chefs — many of them from the Biltmore Estate — and they all raved about how flavorful and exquisite every dish was. On top of that, the team bent over backwards to accommodate all of our guests' allergies and dietary restrictions. From a guest perspective, everyone was so impressed by the top-tier cuisine and the helpful, polite service.

But my perspective is also a little unique: I happen to occasionally work for CBC. Experiencing them as a bride completely blew me away, but having seen this business from the inside, I can tell you that the magic isn't just an act for clients. Corey is a phenomenal boss who leads with genuine empathy, pays well, and fosters a supportive environment where staff can bring their real personalities to work. It is a team filled with outstanding, quality human beings.

Whether you are looking for a caterer who will treat your guests like royalty, or a company you can be proud to work for, Catering By Corey is sheer perfection. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Catering by Corey catered my daughter's wedding at Laurel Falls a few weeks ago. The plated food was so delicious and the presentation, including an orchid flower on each plate, was just beautiful. All of our guests truly raved about the food. Thank you so much for everything you did to make this day truly memorable!

Catering by Corey is the best decision we made for out wedding reception. We wanted a more interactive dinner menu with food stations so people were able to walk around and visit while snacking on various types of food. Corey heard us loud and clear. Everything was perfect. The staff was friendly, fun and overall exceptional. The food was amazing. Everyone was so attentive and professional. Once the ceremony was over and even before we had a chance to take a picture, staff was waiting for us with some of the appetizers and a beverage. Following pictures, staff was there again waiting to make us our plates. We opted to go make our own and at the mac n cheese station, I told the server that she was making me too much but she said she was making extra "for later." I didn't know what that meant at the time, but before the reception was over, we were approached with a bag with two containers in it. Bride and groom "to go meals!!!!!" Perfect touch!

We had so much fun working with Corey and her team throughout the entire planning process. Her food was absolutely delicious and our guests couldn't stop talking about how good it was! I highly recommend Corey for anyone getting married in the Asheville area!

Corey and her team were incredible to work with! Corey helped us to curate the perfect menu for our end of summer wedding. She was great in communicating as we made changes along the way and has plenty of options for our guests with special dietary needs (GF, vegan, etc.). The charcuterie spread for cocktail hour was to die for, the bread and butter, mains, sides, truly everything was SO tasty.My husband and I are both foodies and honestly this food lived up to the hype. Our guests were all talking about good everything was, the food was so flavorful. We did a buffet style so all our guests could try everything and it was a huge hit! Would recommend her to everyone planning a wedding in the Asheville area! There are also SO many options to fit the vibe of your wedding, truly such good food.

I would highly recommend Catering with Corey to anyone getting married in the Asheville area. They were super easy to work with, and helped us make sure that our all-vegetarian wedding was full of delicious food. We had Mediterranean for our cocktail hour and then two stations for dinner: Thai and Mexican. The Mediterranean apps were amazing, the grilled and pickled veggies were great and the dips were delicious. The red curry was very good and actually spicy (perhaps too spicy for a few guests, but most loved it) and the Mexican enchilada casserole was the star. We heard from multiple guests that it was the best wedding food they have ever had!

Corey was such a joy to work with!! She was so communicative and kind and made choosing our menu a breeze! She has so many options and even offered more off-menu choices when we mentioned that some of our guests were plant-based. Corey was so patient with us when we changed the menu several times and helped us choose the right number of items for each app so we’d have the right amount of each item for our guests! The food was amazing and everyone kept telling us how good it was all night!! Corey made the whole process so easy and non-stressful, I would definitely recommend hiring Catering by Corey for your wedding!!

We had Corey’s team for our 2/17/24 wedding, and the food was incredible. We knew from the tasting that the food would be amazing, but then so many of our guests approached us after the wedding to go on about their amazing meal and the creative cocktail hour bites! Steak, salmon, mushroom risotto, and a dozen more entrees to choose from. We also had chicken and waffle bites, shrimp and grits spoons, a cheese board, and other cocktail hour food! The guests loved it. My mom and uncle have mentioned the steak being one of the best of their lives which is a HUGE compliment. I went with salmon and ate it all. Two other couples asked us for Corey’s information, and one couple has already booked them for their wedding!! It was fantastic and we would happily book them again!

Corey and her team were great. Corey was very professional, kind, patient, and flexible with our event/menu. We were very strict on budget and she was able to help us create a menu within our budget but still make it personalized to our likes and favorite foods.

Our cocktail appetizers were so unique to my husband and I and a huge hit overall. And we got so many compliments on how good the food was! Corey and team were so fantastic, that they made sure to include some vegan and dietary restriction options for a few bridal party members. So thoughtful! And the staff was extremely friendly and helpful the entire process. We appreciated the dedicated server making sure we got our cocktail apps and dinner.

I was also happy to support another Johnson & Wales alum and highly recommend Catering by Corey. I just wish I had better photos to share!

They were absolutely amazing! We had a vegan/vegetarian wedding and everybody absolutely loved the food, even the skeptical people 😅. During cocktail hour they personally came out to my husband and I with appetizers to make sure that we ate. They plated our food and had our wine ready to go for us when we sat down, again making sure that we ate. They even overheard that one of my sensory-sensitive family members was not eating and without even asking they found out a food that he liked and brought it to him to make sure he ate. I cannot recommend them enough. They are absolutely amazing! The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious!
