Castle Farms was an incredible all-inclusive venue, and overall we had a wonderful experience.

Catherine and Darren, who own the farm, are genuinely kind, accommodating, and a pleasure to work with. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. We booked it on first sight and never once questioned that decision. They were flexible, responsive, and clearly care about the couples who choose to get married there.

Through Castle Farms, we worked with several vendors who were outstanding.
Dagment Photography was phenomenal. Tawney captured our day beautifully and exceeded every expectation.
Street Kitchen Catering, run by John and his wife Tammie, provided incredible food and service. We are big foodies, so this mattered a lot to us, and the food was delicious. They also handled a large number of family allergies with ease, which we deeply appreciated.
Catherine also coordinated our wedding cake from Smith Island Cakes through a private baker, and they were unforgettable. Truly some of the best cake I have ever had.

The only mixed part of our experience was with our day-of coordinator, Belle of the Ball Planning, specifically Melissa.

To be fair, Melissa successfully coordinated the wedding day so that nothing major went wrong, and that alone is worth a lot. Things ran smoothly, and there were no serious issues, which is important.

However, I was disappointed that my wedding planning binder, which I spent over a year creating and shared in advance, was clearly not fully referenced. About half of the decorations I had carefully prepared were never put out. Additionally, despite my explicit request that all questions go through my maid of honor, Melissa repeatedly came directly to me throughout the day. On your wedding day, you are not thinking clearly, and in hindsight the answers I gave were not actually what I wanted. My maid of honor had memorized my planner and would have been the appropriate person to consult.

I understand that oversights like this are common in weddings, and this may be a broader industry issue rather than unique to one coordinator. Still, when you are paying a significant amount for a single day, even small details matter, especially when those details were clearly documented ahead of time.

Overall, Castle Farms is a gorgeous venue with wonderful ownership and excellent vendor partnerships. I would absolutely recommend the venue itself and several of the associated vendors. My experience with day-of coordination was acceptable but did not fully meet my expectations given the level of planning and preparation I brought into the process.

This venue has it all! It is a stunning location with so many different options to help make your event stand out amongst the rest. They are so accommodating, great with communication, and so nice. The preferred vendors they work with are top tier. I truly couldn’t find a single thing negative to say about my experience working with this team and venue. Definitely recommend booking with them!

Our wedding was held at Castle Farms August 2025. It is the most beautiful venue with 10/10 service from DJ, food and photography.! All services met my expectations and I feel that all vendors went above and beyond to meet our expectations. One of the things that I love the most was that the day of the wedding the owner checked on us several times throughout the day and was, along with her staff, on site throughout the ceremony and reception to ensure everything went smoothly. We cannot say enough about the high-quality service, vendors, and overall experience that we had. Would highly recommend.! We are so pleased with their service that we are actually considering a one year anniversary party at Castle Farms!

We got married at Castle Farm in June 2023, and even though this review is a bit late, I still think back on how absolutely perfect our day was. The owners, Catherine and Darren, went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly and stress free. They were incredibly responsive and always quick to answer any questions we had throughout the planning process. The venue itself is stunning and family friendly, with multiple ceremony locations to choose from, which really helped us make the day feel personal and unique. They also offer a variety of packages to fit different budgets, which made it even more accessible. All of our guests had wonderful things to say afterward, and we truly felt supported every step of the way. If you’re looking for a venue that genuinely cares and helps bring your vision to life, we can’t recommend Castle Farm enough!

Our wedding at Castle Farm was AMAZING! From the planning stages to the day of, it was so easy! They have everything down to a science and we had ZERO worries! The property is stunning and we couldn’t have had a better day!

There really isn’t enough we could say to fully describe how incredible this venue is. It’s perfectly beautiful all on its own without the decorations, table settings, and flowers. Even more beautiful are the the people who own it. My husband and I are beyond grateful for their support and kindness during our special day. Cat is a “yes” woman and made every effort to make our day exactly what we had pictured. In addition, her compassionate husband Darren, who is an unbelievable craftsman, made a customized table for our wedding day. It is more than just a table to us. It is the table all our guests signed, where we ate our first meal as husband and wife, and the place our little family will grow and gather for years to come. Thank you both for everything. Castle farm made our dream fall wedding come to life.

This entire property is like a fairy tale. Every spot is picturesque. The bridal suite is so comfortable and roomy. We used the woods for the ceremony, the pond and barn for the cocktail reception and the grand tent for our reception. We were able to individualize each area. Being able to walk down the long fence line to the tent was magical. Our guests were comfortable at the beautiful handmade tables and all of our needs were attended to.

Castle Farm is a beautiful venue ! Catherine and Darren made sure the day was perfect. Vendors are very easy to work with and very professional highly recommend.

I knew I would get married at Castle Farm before I even visited the venue. It is not just a barn venue, it is an estate, a working equestrian farm. I am an animal lover, they come first in my life. With beautiful horses and cows all over the property and the farm being so incredibly gorgeous, it was a win win. My husband and I did the 3 day wedding weekend, which was well worth it. We were the only couple getting married there that weekend, therefore the attention would be on us completely. I used most of their vendors, opting for my own DJ and adding a photo booth company and ice cream truck. They were very accommodating with these additions.
My wedding coordinator, Melissa from Belle of the Ball Weddings, was also lovely and we got along very well. The entire staff was diligent and efficient.
My photographers Andrew & Kim Knock from Andrew Knock photography were incredible. They also did our engagement shoot and we just 110% vibed with them. They were easy to work with and so much fun.
The bridal and groomsman suites were amazing. Bridal suite was gorgeous, had a nice kitchen, overall spacious ( I had 7 bridesmaids, plenty of room getting ready day of) and since we did the 3 day weekend, we were there 2 nights. The one thing I noticed about the bridal suite was all the hooks! Everywhere you looked there was a hook to hang something. It was perfect for my big bridal party and everyone's stuff. The groomsman suite was also super spacious and had lots of games for the guys.
The food was great and catered by Street Kitchen. They also did out rehearsal dinner. Everything went so smoothly with it and I received several messages on how good the food was.
We used the barn doors as our ceremony location, but they have a few other locations to choose from, it's so nice to have those options. We had Maybelle the flower cow as part of our ceremony, my step daughter walked her down the aisle. Guests LOVED it!. We also had beer ponies during cocktail hour.
There was plenty of parking for our 150 guests and golf carts to take people back and forth. Our reception was under the tent and it was just beautiful!
We used their baker and had 8 Smith Island cakes. We picked out all 8 flavors from a long list of options offered. We were saved a few slices that were put in a box for us at the end of the night, however, unknowingly to my husband and I, they were left outside and we were not comfortable eating it the next day. We figured the rest of our cake had gone home with my MIL but she told us it had all been thrown away. I was pretty upset, but that was my only disappointment with the whole weekend.
Darren, one of the owners, also made us a custom sweetheart table that he engraved with our names and wedding date. It's absolutely beautiful and hand crafted so well. We loved being able to take it home and it will always be a special memory of our weekend there.
Castle Farm is truly a spectacular venue and it encompassed exactly who my husband and I are. We are also local to the area so it was very special to be able to get married so close to home yet feel like royalty. I can't say enough good things or use enough adjectives to describe all the feels of our weekend. Feelings we didn't even know we could feel. Celebrating with family we hadn't seen in decades and surrounded by friends made for an incredible weekend we will never, ever forget. Thank you Catherine and Darren, we couldn't have asked for anything more perfect.
