Extremely talented, professional and a pleasure to work with!

I highly recommend hiring Casco Bay Strings to play at your wedding! We got married in York, ME with about 140 guests this month and had Casco Bay Strings play during our ceremony and cocktail hour. Sam was so great to work with throughout the planning process, asking for our preferences and confirming details leading up to our wedding. The string quartet was able to mix classical with pop songs, which our guests loved! Sam and his team are extremely talented and truly made our special day even more magical with their beautiful music.

Accommodating, professional at a great value, commensurately talented.

Working with Sam in the lead up to our daughter’s wedding instilled confidence and calm. The talented group collaborated well with the many musicians we had pulled together, helping to make the musical liturgy a highlight of the day.

Could not be more happy! Extremely talented musician.

I hired Sam to play violin while proposing to my girlfriend in a city garden.
He went above and beyond to ensure it was a magical surprise for her. He even played the tune of "our" song, which I initially didn't even think would be possible on a violin, but he made it work. He was extremely flexible and followed every detail to ensure perfection. I could not be more pleased with my experience. Sam is an extremely gifted musician and I would absolutely recommend him.

Smooth Sailing Music

A whole lot went wrong on the big day from flowers to catering and the videographer. But the music provided by Casco Bay Strings was not one of those things. Sam was professional and easy to work with, and made it so I didn't have to think or worry about the music when there was so much more to worry about. And of course the music sounded absolutely lovely making the ceremony absolutely magical.
