Listen, Caroline is hands down the photographer who can do it all. I shared my vision with her and she showed up and went above and beyond. She even watched the weather and picked a time that would be perfect for this type of session. She’s so flexible with her time.
Photographing women who despise photos is a tough job but she made them laugh and dance and smile so naturally. All of the photos are gorgeous and my clients couldn’t be happier with these memorable photos from their retreat. This was such a gift to these women who never get in front of the camera. Thank you Caroline, you are so talented.

Caroline and Katie did such a great job photographing my wedding! Caroline called me ahead of time to go over scheduling to make sure everything was in order and would flow easily. She was able to get all the pictures I wanted and then some. I felt very comfortable in front of the camera (something I’m not used to!) with their help and I feel like they had great ideas and creative direction. It’s always been a dream of mine to have Caroline photograph my wedding ❤️ Every bride getting married on Hatteras Island should choose her for their photographer!

Listen yall, Ms. Caroline is the absolutely hands down the best photographer in the OBX. Her vision, creativity, and go-with-the-flow, local swag is everything I think most brides want in a photographer. And she dealt with two brides soooooo there's that. Extra props. I cannot say enough positive things about her and her work and our wedding pictures. They are simply amazing and everything we could have ever wanted. Also, her second shooter is amazing !!! Such a pleasure to work with both ladies. Thank you sooooooo much for capturing our day the way we envisioned!!!!

We found Caroline with very short notice and no idea what to expect. Our photos turned out amazing, and she was so sweet and helpful. She put up with our crazy, loud, and somewhat obnoxious family, all with a smile. Highly recommend her services.

Not only is Caroline one of the sweetest humans on earth, she is also a master of her craft! We knew we wanted her to photograph our wedding day almost immediately after our engagement. Throughout the planning process, Caroline was very responsive - she made sure to get a feel for our vision and helped us nail down our timeline.
On the day of our wedding, Caroline and her team were very punctual and professional. They gracefully kept us on track with our timeline & had lovely energy throughout the day. Caroline made us both feel super comfortable in front of her lens - which is a miracle, considering how awkward we thought we would be! From the photos we've seen so far, she seemed to be everywhere, but her presence never felt intrusive - she blended right in with our guests :)
We haven't even seen the full album yet and we've already seen the perfect mix of gorgeous romantic photos, party photos and fun artistic photos -- they're stunning and truly capture the vibe of our perfect day! We will forever be grateful for these photos and could not recommend Caroline more. We love you, Caroline!!!

Really loved working with Caroline. My now-husband was not thrilled at having a professional photographer, but it was non-negotiable for me. Our package was 6 hours and also included an engagement shoot - we loved some of the engagement pics more than our wedding photos! Caroline was easy to work with and made us feel very comfortable. My only regret is not booking her for longer - we ran late on wedding day and so most of our pics stop at the cake-cutting and we don't have any of the reception. I was also a bit disappointed not to have many photos of our guests. The ones she did of us as a couple and with my family are fabulous and we love those very much.

We met Caroline and Cash at the OBX wedding expo. To be honest, they are probably the most real people I have ever met. They didn't start in on selling us anything or asking us anything about our wedding. They talked to us like they've been our friends for years. What caught our eye wasn't her pictures of weddings they've done but pictures of her dog (Buxton is freaking adorable btw). We probably talked to them for 30-45 minutes and they connected to us in such a way I can't even describe. It's like we were meant to meet them. After we had booked our wedding date, we reached out to them about booking them for our wedding and we were so upset that they had already been booked that we moved our wedding date back a week so that we could have them for our wedding!
We had them do our engagement photos (which turned out AMAZING)! Not only were they up late the night before at another wedding, they moved our shoot to sunrise (7am) instead of sunset due to weather, AND they arrived before we did, already setting up rearing to go! If they were tired we wouldn't have known. Matt and I have never done a photo shoot before so we were a little up tight but Caroline really loosened us up so we would feel more relaxed. She showed us 4 pictures throughout the shoot to give us a sneak peak!
I could not recommend these two more. I love that she has a questionnaires to help her get to know you as a couple (especially since my fiancés mom and dad can be difficult) I love that during the photoshoot she asked us about our lives and not just our wedding (and was sincere) I love that Cash is equally good as Caroline so I know that when he is with the boys taking photos they will turn out just as good as Caroline's. The professionalism between them is so amazing. What the two of them have is so great, not only on a personal level but their business relationship is great and we respect them more for it.

Planning a wedding can be stressful, you want every detail to be perfect, it is your big day! Choosing Caroline and Cash to photograph our wedding was one of the absolute best decisions we made. The package we chose included a complimentary engagement session. Caroline worked very hard with us to schedule a time during her busiest season for the shoot. She took us to a gorgeous & remote spot on the beach. We were encouraged to bring our fur baby to be a part of the pictures, which I thought was amazing! Caroline and Cash made the shoot so fun & relaxed. When you meet them they are the kind of people you feel like you've known for a while.
Caroline took the time to call me a few days before the wedding to go over a complete time line of the day. She wanted to make sure everyone was on the same page. This is truly going above and beyond her hired role as photographer and was so greatly appreciated. The day of the wedding Caroline showed up to photograph me and my girls getting ready and Cash went with the boys. They both have such a calming presence that is so welcomed on such a hectic day. Caroline and Cash made sure we stuck to our timeline while remaining flexible throughout the day. They were very efficient with family portraits which helped with my toddler nephews and hungry guests! We received our pictures one month after the wedding with a sneak peek weeks before! Oh my gosh. The pictures could not be more perfect. The love and emotion of the day was perfectly captured while the natural backdrop was used sublimely in a beautiful and artistic manner. I can be shy in front of the camera, and Caroline made me feel like a super model! I can't tell you how many compliments we have received on how beautiful our photographs are. From start to finish Caroline Jarvis Photgraphy was professional and a pleasure to work with. We HIGHLY recommend!! :)

We could not have been luckier to have Caroline and Cash document our wedding day! Caroline was the most professional, trustworthy, TALENTED photographer we've ever seen, but she also carries herself with grace and kindness and love for what she does. We got married in the Outer Banks on October 1st, and live outside of the state, when I first contacted Caroline right after we got engaged to check her availability, she was quick to respond, and instead of just giving us a pricing and moving forward, she called us to get a feel of what we were looking for in our perfect photographer and what we were dreaming of for our wedding. We met with Caroline in August to do our engagement shoot, and while it was the first time meeting her in person, it felt like we had been friends for years! After only an hour or so with Caroline, we knew that we had made the right decision! Her photos are GORGEOUS, and really capture the natural beauty of the OBX while also highlighting a beautiful shot of her audience. Come the wedding day, after phone calls and emails prior, she knew exactly what she was doing between the group photos, family photos, portraits, and had an all over ease about her that calmed me down on the biggest day of our lives. Caroline and Cash, we could not have imagined our wedding day without you both, and cannot begin to thank you enough for our gorgeous photographs and capturing our memories!

Caroline is awesome she does fantastic photography. My wife and I spent our 25th wedding anniversary in Frisco this year and Caroline was so professional and her assistant Cash was awesome also. Ther wasn't any complaints from the services we got. I would highly recommend this fine young lady to take pictures any day. CJP is totally worth every expectation.

Look. If you are lucky enough to nab this woman (and her able assistant, Cash) for your wedding, please -- for the love of God -- do so. I made the decision a year ago to fly her up from NC to photograph my wedding in Providence, Rhode Island... and none of us have ever looked back. Since then, she has done our engagement shoot on the Outer Banks (A. Mazing) and proceeded to join our friends and family in Providence for the most memorable weekend I have ever experienced. She photographed everything from minute one on Friday afternoon to the encore played by my [exhausted] live band. In short, she *owned* it. I looked to Caroline the entire weekend for where to go and what to do. She directed the comings and goings of rings, fathers, flowers, printed materials, and everything in between. She made her way to the adjustable lighting, and the rest is history. Ladies and Gentlemen, if you are lucky enough to work with her, please just let Caroline do her thing. You will never regret it. Caroline is a true gem; an inspiring creative; a fierce professional; and a beautiful heart. On the night of my wedding, after it was all over and I was still going strong, so energized from all of the friends and family who shared the perfect day with me, all I wanted to do was share a glass of wine with Caroline, which I did. I spend the last moments of my wedding day (the last moments in public, that is) with her and Cash, recounting all the amazing moments of the weekend and, well, talking about which books my husband and I should bring on our honeymoon. Out of all of the vendors we had to choose for our wedding I think it is safe to say that selecting a photographer was one of the highest on our priority list. My wife and I waited a long time for the possibility of marriage to come around for us, so we knew going into the planning process that we were going to place a lot of value on how it is documented. We spent a lot of time going through websites and portfolios to find the kind of aesthetic we were looking for, and once we found Caroline Jarvis Photography there was absolutely no question this was going to be the right choice.

From our first conversation on the phone all the way through the planning, wedding day, and post-wedding process, everything about working with Caroline was amazing. Her professionalism and obvious passion for what she does struck us right away.
