Beautiful venue .. amazing staff 😌

The Captain's Club worked with us for about a year to make our wedding special! They not only helped us out with finding vendors but checked in on us during this time of the covid pandemic. They have been very informative and communicated with us every time the government changed an order. With our wedding cordanator Alexandra she was very organized and helpful with the cermony. I called her my wedding planner to the family with how well she helped me. The food was absolutely amazing! The family could not stop talking about the mac-n-cheese and mushrooms! I would choose them cause you are not just getting a venue, you are getting a staff that will make your experience perfect.

When I first visited the Captain's Club, I knew it was the perfect place for our ceremony and reception. We held the ceremony on the back patio, and guests were also able to conveniently use the patio with strings lights and tables throughout the night during the reception! Alexandra was incredible to work with, as was the entire Captain's Club staff. They will literally go out of their way to help you, and that did not go unnoticed. My guests are still complimenting both the beautiful venue and it's staff, a few months later! I would recommend the Captain's Club to anyone!!

The Captain’s Club at Woodfield made planning my wedding easier!!! Right from the start, Alexandra was prompt to answer my emails before we even booked and up until the big day! I do not think my wedding would have been “as easy to plan” without the help of Alexandra, and all the amazing staff at The Captain’s Club!!!

Overall, the Captain’s Club did a superior job with our wedding! The place is gorgeous from the inside of the ball room to the grounds. There were so many photo opportunities. The planning process was so easy. Every single person was such a pleasure to deal with. All questions, whether it was email or a quick phone call was answered so fast! They were very accommodating to any request we had!
We were planning on having our ceremony outside but it was raining; they had a backup plan to move the ceremony indoors and it was equally as beautiful. We didn’t even rehearse the backup plan and none of our guests even knew. Kerri and the staff made it look so seamless. I can’t stress enough that they really know what they are doing!!
We were married there 5 months ago and our guests are still talking about how fabulous the food was. (We had the salmon, thin-sliced sirloin with the demi glaze, and the beef carving station.) We also had a coney bar and our guests raved about the late night snacks.
We are so glad we chose the Captain’s Club! They really made the planning so easy. They worked with all our vendors and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. We would pick the Captain’s Club a thousand times over!!! Truly, TOP NOTCH!

Picking out a venue can be a very stressful time in wedding planning but The Captain's Club at Woodfield made very easy! The staff was extremely helpful answering any questions or concerns and worked with what we needed. The food is AMAZING and we got to try plenty of options at our tasting. I could call them anytime if I had questions and they would help me out right away. They were very accommodating as well. I would definitely recommend!

We had our wedding reception at Captains Club on July 28th 2018. The staff was wonderful to work with, the atmosphere is splendid, and the food was absolutely excellent. 10/10 would recommend.

I had an amazing experience from start to finish with this venue! I got married on May 19th, 2018 and to be honest hesitated if this was the best place for our wedding venue at first just because I wasn't sure if it fit our vision. As soon as I contacted Kerri and spoke to her she accommodated all of our needs and made it a personal experience. We had 5 months to plan our wedding and it really was smooth sailing with Kerri and her staff's help. I knew the day of the wedding everything would look perfect because of their eye for detail. The food tasted wonderful from the appetizers to the entree. All 215 of our guest felt comfortably seated and taken care of. The room really came together once it was decorated and the outdoor patio offered a place for cocktail hour and for people to mingle throughout the night. I really couldn't think of anything bad to say about my experience at The Captain's Club. My husband and I would strongly recommend it to anyone!

What a great wedding experience for our son and daughter-in-law! Denny Dowdall and the entire staff at Woodfield were wonderful to work with and provided a memorable experience for a stressless wedding day! They were accommodating at every turn, dropped whatever they were doing to answer questions. We highly recommend this venue for a top-flight, quality experience for any family planning a wedding! Amazing venue, staff and the wedding coordinator Nicole was BEYOND AMAZING!!! She was so helpful, quick to respond and all around fantastic to work with. The food was exceptional and there honestly is not one thing I would complain about. Great prices and many options to fit everyone's budget!
