Tasty Layers Custom Cakes did a fantastic job with creating the most beautiful sweetheart cake, along with baking two different kitchen cakes for our guests. When you schedule an appointment with Tasty Layers, you can choose to do a tasting, and then choose whatever combination of cake flavors and filling options of your choice. For the sweetheart cake, they make the frosting a blue ombre, and added flowers and the cake topper once they delivered the cake to our venue. Everyone was super easy to work with, and our guests RAVED about the cake- the German Chocolate cake with fudge filling was continually mentioned in the weeks following our wedding. Look no farther than Tasty Layers if you want a true custom wedding cake that tastes incredible!

My husband and I were directed to Tasty Layers by our venue (Lapeer Country Club), and they were quite literally the icing on the cake for our wedding day. Their cakes and cupcakes are the best that my husband, myself, and many of our guests had ever tasted. We tried 6 different flavors (which were all incredible) and ultimately landed on their confetti cake with their classic buttercream frosting. I think about our wedding cake almost on the daily because it was that good, and we got so many sweet comments about how amazing our cake was at and after our wedding.

We live quite a distance a way from Tasty Layers, and they were so accommodating when it came to appointments and figuring out details. We were able to iron everything out remotely, which took an enormous amount of stress off our backs. Everyone we spoke with was extremely friendly, helpful and made our entire experience very pleasant!!
