I can not express how beautiful this place was, and Rick the owner was so easy to work with. I received so many compliments as to how beautiful the location was.. you truly can’t beat the Lake Michigan views. The venue even has rooms on site that my family was able to stay in.

We had our wedding at Camp Blodgett and it was the absolute perfect location! We looked from St. Joe to Traverse City looking at venues and it was one of the few we could find that would work for us and our guests on Lake Michigan. It is right on Lake Michigan with inside dining facility with windows facing the Lake, a fireplace and a wrap around deck. Even with rain on and off through out the day, it was a gorgeous view. They also let you bring in your own vendors, which was a huge plus for us. I highly recommend having a tent if you can for the outside area just in case of weather. I know we would have not had a great outdoor space to have all night otherwise. Rick is wonderful to work with and answered questions about the venue, and was super responsive. We highly recommend this gorgeous location! Thank you so much for making our wedding day perfect!

This venue is a true gem. The backdrop, venue, and remodel are gorgeous! Everyone at our wedding raved about it and we couldn't agree more! I was even more surprised that so many of our guests made it down to the water and stuck their toes in! I would recommend this venue to anyone!
