Sitting on the waterfront at Marina del Rey, California, you will find a stunning and unique wedding venue at California Yacht Club's historic Northwind. This beautiful 130-foot classic yacht offers an elegant and romantic setting for you and your betrothed to recite your wedding vows in front of family and friends.
Facilities and Capacity
Commissioned in 1930, this floating venue has been restored to its former glory. Imagine yourself standing opposite your future spouse aboard this lovely yacht, with the sun gently setting in the background. You and up to 80 of your guests will have the opportunity to enjoy fantastic coastal views while you sip on champagne and dance into the night. This intimate space allows you to plan an elevated private cocktail party or dinner that your loved ones will never forget. There are five event spaces, each with its own versatility and charm. The Victory Lounge is a lovely, cozy room decorated in vintage-inspired decor and with seating for up to 16 people. The main dining area is the Victory Deck, which features wraparound windows and casual bistro seating for up to 24 guests. On the main deck, you will find Winston's, which is a classic, flexible space ideal for a small gathering of 12. Great for a golden hour celebration, the Sunset Deck is the yacht's largest outdoor area, featuring lounge furniture, marina views, and a dedicated bar. This space allows for up to 50 seated invitees. Last but not least, there's the Jackie O Suite, a poker room ideal for game nights, which you can find below deck and seats up to 10.

Before becoming a wedding officiant, I was a wedding planner. California Yacht Club is one of my favorite venues in Los Angeles county! The coordinators there are total professionals, responsible and lots of fun. They're so passionate about what they do and every person that I've sent that has booked with them has been so happy! Love this venue!!! As an officiant, it is a gorgeous setting with the marina and the boats in the background!
CYC is such a beautiful venue! We love working there. Plus the staff is so accommodating and are truly a pleasure to work with each time.
