We found Karen the way you find most excellent vendors- word of mouth. We met with her many months before the event to try samples and see some of her work. Not only is her cake *absolutely delicious* but she is also very sweet and easy to work with, and her prices beat out all of the big bakeries in town.
As the big day approached I sent over a few pictures of the style of cake I liked and we discussed pricing and flavors over the phone. I went with a yellow pound cake layered with buttercream frosting and chocolate fondant. Yum!! It turned out beautifully and tasted like a homemade cake. Just what I wanted.
I would definitely recommend Karen for any sweet treat needs you may have. She also delivers.
