Hey There!

Thanks for checking out my work! My name is Burke and I am a photographer based in Asheville, NC. I have always had a love for capturing the world through a lens. My (now) life-long passion for photography began at an early age with film camera's at after school programs and has been intertwined with my love for bikes and the outdoors, more specifically - mountain bikes. Combining my two passions has allowed me to travel to amazing destinations around the globe, adventuring into amazing places that I never thought possible, and I feel fortunate to be able to share my experiences through my photos.

There's no right or wrong way to take an image, but there's the way I like to take pictures! And that's trying to capture that moment in time. Blending my inspiration experiences from the past 20 years and gives my photos a documentary style with a natural composition, and a splash of artistic inspiration utilizing perspective and candid moments to tell the story. My hope is that you'll have some amazing memories from one of the biggest days of your life displayed somewhere in your house, and every time you look at that photo of you and your partner, it makes you feel something.

I love the process - From why you chose your venue/location, to what are the take-away moments that mean the most to you, and any special insight into the planning for the day. I then take those notes from our initial conversation, and periodic check-ins(with updates) and apply them to your wedding day. Between our first consultation and your wedding day, there will be multiple check-in's for any updates, just to say "hi!", keeping communication open because plans can change & evolve over time leading up to your wedding day.

I have a great working knowledge of the Asheville area and the surrounding National Forest if you'd like any guidance while planning your wedding, and taking into consideration your engagement photos that are included in the Full-Day wedding package, I am happy to offer some insight based on time of year as to where/when to get the best images possible.
