My name is Joshua Maples and I am an official court-appointed ordained and civil marriage commissioner serving Northeast Tennessee, Southwest Virginia and Western North Carolina. I specialize in officiating secular and non secular elopements & small intimate wedding ceremonies as well as large elopements and cow renewals. I can even perform a wedding on the same day you get your license!
I can walk you through the marriage process, from where to go to get a license, to what type of vows you would like to use. I view my role as making everyone feel comfortable and welcome; you will not have to worry about a thing when it comes to my part.

Services Offered
I begin by sending you a list of questions to create a personalized ceremony script. I collaborate with you and your partner while exchanging ideas until we agree create the perfect script. I officiate a variety of wedding types, write vows, both religious, non-religious, or interfaith. You will also have the option to include your own vows to add an extra special touch to the service. I coordinate with your other vendors to ensure the day runs as smoothly as possible.

More than an officiant! A coordinator, caterer, and all arrive great guy.
After the ceremony he stayed and connected with our guests, and we heard so many compliments about him. Honestly, our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without Joshua mingling..he was the capstone that brought everything together making jokes and laughing. His humor kept everyone celebrating. We couldn't have asked for a more informed, helpful, and professional wedding officiant.
It was freezing hot the day we chose to elope (on our 11th year anniversary of being together) but Joshua made the entire process enjoyable and light-hearted! Even though we all were mostly cooked medium well done by the end!
We wanted to include hand-fasting into our ceremony and Joshua was very knowledgeable of that. Greg fit perfectly into our short but meaningful ceremony.
