Joshua is not only a great Officiant, but he also goes over and above by taking fun, candid photos and videos of the bride and groom before the ceremony. Wow! Not many people notice the small things that I do at weddings. I had such a great time. I do notice if someone needs a chair, or something needs to be cleaned, it came from years of customer service and being an honest genuine person. This career is not only about marrying and starting a union between a couple but it's also a part of taking care of the ones that are for the couple witnessing everything that takes place. Minister Joshua was excellent! My parents found him online after realizing they wanted someone to take professional pictures for my wedding. We only had a little over a month to plan everything but that was ok because Joshua had everything under control. We could email or call with any concerns or questions we had and he always had a prompt response. The fact that he filed the marriage license for us is a godsend because we came from out of state for a family vacation and all govt offices were closed until the day we left. He even sent me the link to fill out for our marriage application! The ceremony was more beautiful than I could've hoped for because I was just thinking of something simple. Bottom line is, Joshua is the best of the best so book him quick before your date is gone! You won't be disappointed, I promise!

I just had my wedding at Callaway Farm here in Kingsport Tennessee in 2024. I must say that it was the best decision when picking a venue and professional Wedding Officiant and coordinator. This is my first choice when looking at venues once I walked in from the beautiful decor to the amazing staff I was sold! Once I met our Officiant, Joshua Maples in August 2023 while doing a tour I knew this place would be the one for me. He couldn’t have made my wedding experience anymore easier from professionalism, communication, and fun, then decor, staff etc of the venue. Everything was amazing. He made wedding planning a breeze for me stress free! I am a full time mom, full time dance mom I work full time without them idk how I could have planned my wedding but everything came out beautiful exactly what me and my husband asked for. Joshua Maples was our officiant today, we were blown away with his professionalism and familiarity to our ceremony. We felt that Joshua gave us exactly what we wanted; a small and intimate ceremony with our closest family. He also added a beautiful memorial for my mother in law who passed away, and also allowed us to jump the broom which was very special. The ceremony was everything we wished for and more. This man helped us from start to finish. My partner and I didn't know where to start, didn't know how it where to begin. Minister Maples helped us from point A-Z answering all of our questions with reassurance. We needed someone non-secular to officiate our wedding and he did just that plus beyond. Joshua maples was the far most greatest officiant ever.I personally would recommend him to anyone that wants the perfect officiant for a perfect wedding. Joshua got back with me momentarily and did so up to the day of wedding

Awesome Minister

Josh wrote our vows by hand! It was so beautiful and so personable! He talked to us as he wrote us a script!! Thankfully nothing needed to be changed because of how perfect it was! He was amazing and worked with us every step of the way! Texted us about every week or so letting us know how excited he was for our day! Wouldn’t have it any other way.

Joshua showed up early and was already coordinating with other vendors and laughing with guests. I'd recommend him 10/10 if you don't want a boring wedding. He included some answers from an email he sent about us and even provided a link to get our pre license done online without having to go to the courthouse to get it!

I couldn't be happier with who I chose to officiate our wedding. It was last minute, but with Joshua Maples everything was so smooth that it took so much stress away from the wedding. He was calm, collected, and was willing to do whatever it took to make us happy. My spouse and I interviewed him for our ceremony in 2023 and decided not to use him because we didn't trust that he would show up because he was late for our initial meetup. And his ceremony seemed generic, he didn't want to get to know us. So, when my aunt mentioned that she was using him for her ceremony, I was cautiously optimistic. He text with her the night before the ceremony, confirming the time. The day of the ceremony we show up on time and he doesn't. Not only does he not, he does not respond to text messages for close to 35 minutes. He eventually text saying he had it scheduled for a different time (he confirmed the time the night before) and did show up, 40 minutes late. Both I and my aunt text him and he sent us both the same message. Very impersonal. The ceremony felt rushed, he did not use my uncle's name because we think he forgot what it was. And then proceeded to make the entire situation afterward about himsself and his family. He had the audacity to bring a picture of his kids and put them on my aunt's fridge after all this. Would we recommend? No. Never would. It's not personal, not genuine and taking a selfie to promote your business? I’m very sorry that our services were out of your expectations. However, I honestly don’t think it’s fair to submit a review for a product or service that you didn’t actually purchase, just because you don’t agree with or are aware of the facts.
Cynthia and John called from a land line which appears on my end to be a suspected spam phone number. I was not aware of this so I had constantly text the landline to confirm the time, date, and address. They also opted for the $99 legal signing at my business office with no ceremony, no ring exchange, and no vows. Cynthia called back and asked if I would come to their home in which I agreed over the phone. When our couples do sign up for the ceremony level tier, there is an email exchange to get to know the couple personally, to make the connections, and create a customized ceremony. This wasn't the case. There was no text string to follow or email to respond to. Even with the $99 tier signing, and making a house call, I thought it would be courteous to create a small blessing upon their marriage at no extra charge. I apologize if a religious blessing offended you, having you leave this such a negative review.
I had only met this sweet couple when I arrived 20 minutes early before the correct time labeled on three calendars in our office.
We pay attention to every detail and give our clients the peace-of-mind of knowing that everything is going to be taken care of for them. I realize that this level of service isn’t for everyone, but it’s there for those who truly value and appreciate it.
We are a small business, not a huge corporation, and I have dedicated my life to making it the very best it can be. It really hurts me on a personal level to read a review like yours. I think you have made a mistake here, but I do wish you the very best Christmas and New Year as well as John and Cynthia.
