I am so glad I selected Leila to be my wedding planner.
She is super easy to work with and really on top of things. i had a lot of questions and relied on her for insights for the decisions to be made and she was very helpful talking through all of them.
she found many of my vendors including my photographer and my florist for me and both were perfect but the florist especially was a total gem. i am so grateful leila found and recommended her.
Leila also handled negotiating rates and fees on my behalf which was awesome and saved me some money.
i had this vision for a dark and moody wedding and it came out absolutely perfect. she created a vision board based on my desires and it truly came to life on my wedding day. it was actually even better than my vision.
i had my share of "ive changed my mind" situations and was worried Leila might get annoyed but she didn't appear to be in the least. She was super flexible and went with the flow to make the changes needed.
Leila also handled all the prep and set up which was such a stress relief and huge time saver for me. she was constantly checking in to see what else she could do for me.
i had no stress on my wedding day and everything went perfect!
it truly was my dream wedding.

There's so much to say about Leila that I don't even know where to begin. To start with, she is incredibly patient. I have emailed her more times than I probably needed to with questions for deadlines, vendors, DIYs, budgeting, you name it. Each time, she replied in detail and within only a couple of hours. She genuinely cares about what you are looking for in a wedding and will definitely make that happen with your budget in mind. Leila has always been open to my suggestions no matter how crazy I may have sounded. She also genuinely cares about how you as a person and takes the time to get to know you, your significant other, and where you're at in life, and that helps with the wedding planning process. On our wedding day, I did not have to worry about one thing at all except getting ready and having a magical day with friends and family.

I don't even know where to start; Leila is first of all just an amazing person! She went above and beyond for our wedding, from the great design ideas she had for making decorations that were both beautiful and budget friendly, to helping with layout, timeline and all the many little details. There were many times where she would ask me something or remind me of something, and I would think to myself, oh man without Leila I would have never thought of this little detail. She was always there to respond to all my questions very quickly, and she was just on top of everything. The day of the wedding she was there first thing in the morning, and packed up everything at the end of the night. I didn't have to worry about a thing! Later I found out that our tables were late and not the right number of tables/linens were delivered (not her fault), but Leila didn't let any of that get to me to worry me. She handled all of it, and by the time guests arrived everything just looked perfect! I mean better than I had even imagined it in my head. You know when everyone says that something will always go wrong on your wedding day and you should try not to stress about it, well not at my wedding! There was not a thing that went wrong, and everything was just awesome...and that was all thanks to Leila!

When I initially met Leila I had explained to her that I was one of those girls that dreamed of her wedding day. I wanted to be able to enjoy my wedding day from start to finish without any stress. Leila did this and so much more!

I had a California wedding, but had to plan it from New York. Leila was always responsive to email, phone, and text and always worked around my schedule. She was always a step ahead and never waited until the last minute. She created inspiration boards to help me communicate my vision with my vendors. She is very detail oriented and makes the most amazing referrals and recommendations. I never thought planning a destination wedding could run so smoothly.

The actual wedding day was truly the most amazing day of my life. Leila really makes the wedding experience an enjoyable one. She is so great to work with and truly is one of those people who loves what she does. She is professional and a joy be be around. She really went above and beyond what I expected from her.

Leila was fantastic to work with and made wedding planning manageable and stress-free. Her knowledge, eye for design, and ability to get things done made our wedding more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Everything ran very smoothly and went off without a hitch, which I thought was especially amazing! She had great ideas throughout the process, often going above and beyond what we expected, and had helpful vendor suggestions to fill in areas we needed. She also assisted us with handling challenging vendors that were not performing. Her enthusiasm and professionalism make working with her a joy and we would definitely recommend her to anyone planning a wedding large or small. Ours was a 300 person wedding with a number of vendors, and only 2 hours available for set-up but she managed to get it all done!

Leila at Brilliant Event Design was the perfect fit for our wedding planning needs! Although I was willing to do quite a bit on my own, I knew I needed someone for more than just a day-of; there were some things I was completely struggling with. Leila was flexible in her packages and in the types of services she could offer - which is what I think really sets her apart. She got to know us, then used our likes to pull together a great "look" - everything from designing and handling our invitations, creating signage, choosing fabrics, and finding just the right accents. Not to mention her fantastic ability to plan, organize, and professionally coordinate our vendors. I especially appreciated that she listened (probably endlessly) to my ideas, gave me guidance and thoughtful suggestions, and then executed everything perfectly the day of our wedding. I honestly didn't worry about a thing that day!

I started out with a vision for my daughter's wedding, and Leila brought it to life. She spent 8 months carefully planning and creating to produce a simply ELEGANT wedding, while working with a backyard poolside venue. I was looking for more than just candles and flowers. Leila provided DESIGN based on her exceptional skill and training. She also has great patience to work with a Mother of the Bride!! Every aspect was perfect and beyond my initial vision!

Words can not express how thankful I am to have had Leila with my on my wedding day and the month before. I truly can not imagine doing it without her and my wedding would not have been what it was without her help, guidance, and patience!!! She had her hands full with us and she was AMAZING!! HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended!!!

I don't know what I would have done without Leila for my wedding. She was so professional, responsive, accommodating and calm. She went above and beyond for us and our wedding and I really appreciated every thing she did. She was also very conscious about taking the stress off of me and not letting things stress me out the day of which I really appreciated! I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat!

Leila is top-notch in every respect! She truly took the time to get to know me and get a good feel for our vision for the wedding. She was so neat and organized with her timelines and inspiration boards, which was very reassuring as the ideas were coming together. She was very flexible with meeting times and places, and quick to respond. She was honest but tactful and supportive when I needed help figuring out how to make things work. She made many phone calls and sent many emails to check out services and to get the florist/decorator on the same page. And then, on the day, she was a virtual magician, ensuring everything was in its place and flowing smoothly. Our wedding would not have been anywhere near the lovely experience everyone kept saying it was if it had not been for Brilliant Event Design. And I couldn't have floated around so happily in my blissful cloud :). I absolutely recommend her without hesitation! I would call her myself for any event - she is a rare combination of empathy, creativity, attention to detail and a true eye for beauty. Absolutely wonderful!!
