About

We pride ourselves in precision! Because of it, most alterations only require two fittings. For this reason it is important that the bride brings the necessary accessories with her to each appointment. This usually includes the particular shoes to be worn with the gown and any undergarments (corset, bra, slip, etc.)

We recommend that alterations take place 4-6 weeks before the wedding. If, however, you are a bride needing “express service” because emergency calls, we’ll be glad to “make it happen” for you!

Please call as soon as possible to book an appointment that is comfortable to your schedule. The fluctuation of the bridal season makes booking difficult sometimes, but we always do our best to accommodate!

If one of us doesn’t answer your call, please leave a message and we will return your call as soon as we can. Please keep in mind, however, that we do not conduct business on Saturday so if you call then, we’ll call you back on Sunday or Monday.

I had a great experience with Celia and her team. It was easy making appointments and I really liked their availability on Sundays. My alterations were relatively simple but I wanted to make sure that they were done right. Celia took the time explaining how she was going to proceed and this gave me full confidence into her work. As expected, my dress looked perfect and felt very comfortable. Her team is very pleasant to be with and they really added to my experience. My mom is from out of town and she couldn’t be there to learn about lacing my corset. They happily agreed to make a video and show how to do it and I can tell you that this video has been extremely useful! Thank you so much for your great work! I recommend everyone to at least book your first visit with Celia and see how comfortable you can be by leaving your dress into her hands.

Celia is very dear. All the consultants I've been in touch with are very professional! Going to pick up my finished gown today. So happy worth their kindness and knowledge!

I'm so happy I found Celia! She was so friendly and professional. She did such a wonderful job with my dress.. I have a large bust, but small everywhere else. I felt like I was swimming in my dress, but after Celia got a hold of it, it looked amazing!! She made my dress accentuate every curve (real or imagined) that I have!! I felt so beautiful!! Her prices are what you would expect to pay at a high end bridal shop, but she is worth it!!

Celia and Emily were great to work with! They are super experienced and easy going. They came up with several options for my alterations and gave honest opinions when we discussed what would look best. I ended up getting my dress hemmed, a French bustle and removable straps. The results were better than I expected and the straps looked like they were a part of the dress all along (which was my goal). They really know what they’re doing! The alterations were not cheap but the quality of work was superb and well worth the cost. Overall, great friendly service and very talented individuals.

I had taken my dress to be altered to someone else and they did not fix it the right way. with only 3 weeks until my wedding i was desperate and stressed. I found Celia because she is near my work and i was able to go in during my lunch. She was such a God send. she new exactly what needed to be done to the dress to make it perfect and had it done in time. It was a little pricey but you get what you paid for and this was definitely worth it, she made it easy and stress free.

Celia and her team were so great to work with and were recommended to me by my bridal boutique, The White Flower. Celia makes you feel comfortable from the start, and made suggestions on where to best alter my wedding gown. The hemming on my gown looked like it had not been touched even though a few inches were removed, and the bustle was perfect and matched the style of my gown wonderfully. I did need some modifications to the bustline to make it smaller and did add extra cups, and while it still did not fit as perfectly as I would have liked I'm not sure they could have done anything more the modify it. Their office is in an older building but their spot is clean, bright, and perfect for this purpose. I would definitely recommend Celia for alterations.

I used Celia as my seamstress. She came recommended from a local high end bridal salon, so I figured I was safe. Wrong. Celia was nice enough on our first visit but subsequent appointments were not so pleasant. I needed my dress taken in and bustled, and wanted a lace bolero made. She did a decent job on the alterations and bolero (although it was a little over priced, which I didn't realize at the time). The bustle was a disaster, initially it looked like nothing she had shown me, when I wanted it changed she was rude and inflexible, telling me there are only 2 ways to bustle my dress (both hideous). Finally after her 3 rd attempt with no success I took my dress to another seamstress. All in all a very stressful and negative experience.
