We had a great time working with the girls from Blush on and leading up to our wedding day. We live in Dallas and our elopement was in Yosemite. Being so far away I only had the internet reviews to rely on to choose my vendors and I didn’t really know what to expect but I have to say the internet wasn’t wrong. Melanie is amazing!! She was excellent at staying in touch with me and working with me to select my look for the big day. She was prompt with her replies and was expressive in her responses to my many questions :)
We got to work with Diana(hairstylist) and Mariah (makeup artist) on our big day. They were both punctual, professional and experts at their job. I don't apply makeup in my day to day life and hence my knowledge in the space is extremely limited. I had selected a nude look for the wedding. However on the day of the event Mariah talked me through some other option that would look great on me. We ended up pivoting to a completely different look and I’m so glad we did because it turned out fantastic. Additionally both girls were very personable and we had a great time chatting and getting to know them.

Melanie did an amazing job on my hair and make-up for our wedding elopement day!!! We had to switch locations to another state on short notice and she was able to meet us at our new location. Very friendly and easy to talk to, punctual, and very accommodating. Would highly recommend her to anyone! I also received several compliments on my hair and make-up :))

Melanie and Amanda did a fantastic job on my hair and makeup for my wedding, and on the hair and makeup for the bridesmaids and mothers of the bride and groom. Melanie did my hair and makeup, and I have never looked better. She also did the makeup for the bridesmaids and mother of the groom, and they looked gorgeous! Amanda is a complete whiz with hair, and did am amazing job on everyone's hair, even though the girls all had totally different types of hair (short, long, thin, thick, etc.) We were all super pleased with the results. Amanda also did the groom's hair, and he loved it.

Blush was very accommodating too, and was able to add on hair services for my mom, who decided last minute that she wanted her hair done professionally. They also added on the groom's hair, and hair for a guest who requested hair services.

Melanie did my hair and makeup for our Yosemite elopement and I can not say enough good things about my experience. The booking process was organized and simple. Communication was prompt and thorough, all my questions were answered. To start, I am not a person who knows much about makeup or wears much of it. The day of the wedding Melanie created a stress free, comfortable environment. She is so talented and perfectly captured the natural look I wanted, despite my indecision at times.
