BlueSky was the perfect venue for our wedding! It was so convenient to have the ceremony, cocktail hour all at one location and many of our guests decided to stay at BlueSky as well. The rooms are spacious, a 1 bedroom was large enough for my entire bridal party to get ready the morning of (5 Bridesmaids). Shawna was an exceptional coordinator and helped the day run smoothly. All of our guests raved about the gorgeous location and decor; they had no idea that we actually saved money by choosing this location! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a beautiful mountain wedding!

This was the perfect setting and felt it was worth the fee for my daughter's wedding reception. Shawna our wedding co-ordinator was easy to work with and responsive to our needs. Loved having our guests stay on the property to extend our time together.
We used BlueSky Breckenridge for the reception site and lodging, as the wedding ceremony was held at the church.

We loved having our wedding reception at Bluesky Resort. Shawna was great to work with and we had the freedom to decorate however we wanted. We were allowed to get into the ballroom to decorate on Friday which was very helpful with timing and were allowed until Sunday to tear down. We were required to use one specific caterer for food and alcohol, which was the only draw back, however our food turned out wonderful. All our guests loved the rooms at Bluesky and we loved the feel of the smaller resort as opposed to a huge one. Bluesky was the perfect venue for our wedding reception of about 60 people.

I worked with Annie Campbell to coordinate our wedding at BlueSky and she was so incredibly helpful! BlueSky was the perfect venue for us since it was very cost-effective, offered lodging for our wedding guests, a bar, reception room and we used the terrace for our ceremony! The terrace was such a perfect, gorgeous outdoor ceremony setting and our guests loved it!
I highly suggest having all of your guests stay at BlueSky for a true relaxing and fun experience as they don't have to drive anywhere. BlueSky offers a shuttle that takes you into town so there's no need for a car.
We used tulle and lights to decorate the reception room which is usually used as a conference room and is a bit on the smaller size. If you have more than 100 guests it's best to add a tent on the terrace to allow for more room. We had 100 guests and were able to fit everyone in the room along with a 12x16 dance floor, DJ, dessert bar table and favor table. We also had a photobooth which we were able to put in the bar and it was so fun!
The only slight issue we had is parking so keep in mind if guests don't stay at BlueSky to have them stay at River Mtn Lodge, Main Street Station or another lodge that has a shuttle to drop them off at BlueSky. Rooms also only allow one or two parking spots per room.
The caterer that comes with BlueSky is Food Hedz and Sara who helps to coordinate everything is awesome! Very down to earth, helped us to set up the reception room as well as the seating for the ceremony. Everyone at BlueSky is so nice and really helpful when you're planning your event, you will love it there!

Shawna was amazing getting things set-up and ready to go. She had pre-planned weeks out of items that needed to be done and would send them out on time. They had changed caterer companies a few months before the wedding, which created some interesting last minute changes, but was managed by the 2 different companies. She had a family emergency the day off, but the person that ended up helping us was just as helpful and informative! Had a great event!
