Our Wedding 08.27.2021

We are so grateful to have worked with the Grand Hyatt Vail. We hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner and welcome party with them and it was so beautiful. The food was delicious, the ambiance, and set up of our dinner table and buffet was perfect. We were able to meet with them multiple times before the wedding as well and see the space. It was truly enjoyable to work with them all. Our room block during the weekend was held here as well, as well as my husband and I's wedding suite. We couldn't of asked for a more beautiful weekend. We would especially like to thank Sarah who worked closely with us, bringing it to life.
Thank you all so, so much.

Ineke did a wonderful job helping me and my mom coordinate my rehearsal dinner and guest housing for 100 people. We chose the Zermatt ballroom for our rehearsal dinner and it couldn't have turned out better. The ballroom is beautifully designed with large windows and was the perfect size for the amount of people we had. The food at Hotel Talisa is wonderful, and our guests were very impressed with the condos they stayed in as well as the hotel and amenities. Thank you Ineke and staff for making our wedding week so memorable!

We had a wonderful wedding in May of 2018 and were so pleased that we chose Hotel Talisa. We can't say enough positive comments about Ineke De Jong, the Catering and Conference Services manager. From the minute we met her she was professional, informative and helpful. She guided us through every step of the process and was there at a moment's notice. Her organization put us at ease, especially the weekend of the wedding!

The venue is perfect if you are looking for a picturesque mountain setting that is able to accommodate a larger wedding and want to host several different events over the wedding weekend. We had many out-of-town guests, so we wanted one venue capable of hosting a rehearsal lunch, welcome reception, and wedding ceremony/reception. Over the weekend our guests enjoyed the ease in which they could get to Vail Village and Lionshead. Some took advantage of the free shuttle, while others enjoyed the recreational path right along the river. For our rehearsal lunch, the Mont Blanc room provided an intimate setting. The food was spectacular. 130 people attended our Welcome reception in the Gore Foyer and were able to utilize both indoor and outdoor space. Our ceremony was held in the garden, where we had views of the mountain and the river. Our guests then enjoyed the beauty of the Gore Terrace for cocktail hour, which boasted similarly stunning views to the garden. The Zermatt Ballroom fit all 157 of our guests and had its own private deck and natural light.

The venue played a huge part in the success of our weekend, and the amount of our guests who are still talking about your venue is testament to that. My husband and I can't thank the staff at Hotel Talisa enough for a weekend we will never forget!
