Powderhorn Mountain Resort is a mountain wedding venue located in Mesa, Colorado, near the city of Grand Junction. Nestled on 1,600 acres along the northern edge of Western Colorado’s Grand Mesa, this resort provides spectacular views of the breathtaking region. The Grand Mesa is the world’s largest flattop mountain and is beautiful throughout every season, whether it’s covered in winter snow or summer wildflowers. Outdoor enthusiasts will be drawn to the rugged terrain and family-friendly ski trails, which make for picturesque backdrops to the festivities. The staff welcomes couples to tie the knot on the Grand Mesa and create memories that will last a lifetime.
Facilities and Capacity
The wedding venue at Powderhorn Mountain Resort is a rustic and spacious area for hosting ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions. Vows can be exchanged on the deck underneath the distinctive log pergola, which can be decorated with your choice of décor. Folding chairs will be set up by the staff on this porch in order for 225 guests to witness the momentous occasion. The deck overlooks the ski slope and is draped with bistro lights, both of which add a romantic atmosphere to the nuptials. Afterward, the banquet hall provides an excellent spot to dine and dance late into the night with loved ones. This room is furnished with tall windows that let in plenty of natural light, chandeliers, televisions, round tables, and a large built-in bar. Alternatively, soon-to-be-newlyweds can take the chairlift up the slopes for a mountain-top ceremony that offers 360-degree views of the stunning landscape.
