I especially appreciated how promptly he responded to our questions and how smoothly he coordinated all the details.

Don't think -- book!
In addition to the stay, the ceremony and the reception were at the same location, so it maximized our reception time to avoid traveling from venue to venue -- we just went inside! The venue was gorgeous, the food was delicious, and the service was outstanding both during the wedding day and during the entire stay.
The venue has everything, so no extra rentals are required. Just bring your favorite decorations, and their team will handle the rest! ML also offered Kaitlyn James as the day-of coordinator for an additional fee, and she was KEY for the perfect day! I cannot thank Kaitlyn and the ML team enough!!!!
BONUS: the complimentary shuttle for hotel guests is a nice touch!

Ruined my wedding and gave my sister a CONCUSSION
Wow. Where do I start without writing a novel? THEY DROPPED 8-10 WOODEN CHAIRS ON MY SISTERS HEAD AND GAVE HER A SERIOUS CONCUSSION. Didn’t call the paramedics. She was given a dirty mop rag for ice. When we woke up the next morning the water was dirty. This was not the only guest hurt. Another guest eating in their restaurant had a chair collapse under them. They ended up with bruises all over their legs. The venue is falling apart. When we got there the cabin was filthy. It smelled of dust and had bodily fluid all over the walls in the bathroom. The staff was rude. One even hung up on my sister after they gave her a concussion when she asked for a bell hop to help with bags. The food was a mess as they have a new chef and wouldn’t let us do a second tasting. My husband is a chef and the food was the most important thing. They served the wrong appetizers and the beef was without exaggeration the driest piece of meat I’ve ever had. I couldn’t even swallow it. I have more to say, but the gist is they are not a venue I would recommend. They forgave the rest of our alcohol bill as a sign of good faith so I’ll mention that but there is no way 68 people drank $7.5k worth of alcohol in 6 hours. That would be 11 drinks+ per person so we believe they padded the bill. It took them almost two weeks to send a bill or even address the issues. I was told my wedding would be a “training experience” for their team. My wedding was ruined and I have nothing positive to say about this establishment.
