A pro through and through
Brittney was everything I could have asked for and more in a day-of-coordinator for our wedding. From my first time checking out her website to unpacking the bags with our personal items the day after the wedding, she went above and beyond to consider every detail necessary to really allow us to enjoy the day. Our wedding was not perfect, there were medical events in the bridal party that couldn't have been predicted or prevented, and the best compliment I can give Brittney is that outside of the 20 members of the bridal party who saw it happen, the other 175 guests had no idea anything was amiss. She quickly consulted with us to confirm changing the order of events at the reception, and got the message out to the other vendors so they didn't skip a beat. She made sure everything ran smoothly without interrupting the flow of the night, or the moments we took to enjoy it. The best part about working with Brittney is that she is like working with a close friend -- she's considerate, compassionate, and as demanding as a friend who really knows you and cares about you would be. What could have been a nightmare was made perfect in no small part due to Brittney and her team -- and we are so thankful for their professionalism and expertise in what they do! Note that I am someone who enjoys details and planning, so I knew I didn't want a full-time wedding planner because I had the desire (and time) to do it myself. With that said, if I had a different job that afforded me less time, or less interest in the details, I would have gone with full planning from Brittney in a heartbeat.Sent on 10/23/2019

Can't say enough about Brittney and BLB Events!
I really enjoyed working with Brittney the months leading up to the wedding and the day of. From the first phone call I felt like she really understood what I was looking for in an event planner and was very on top of all the details. I am admittedly a control freak, but I felt really comfortable with Brittney and trusted her very quickly because I felt like she was taking care of everything, following up with vendors, calling to help get things straightened out when there were problems or delays, and remembering or suggesting things I hadn't even thought of! The day of the wedding, she was great. It was raining in the morning, so she dropped off an umbrella for me and my husband to use, just in case we needed it for photos or while walking. She helped coordinate everything according to the timeline we agreed on during the day of and she made sure the decor and tables were setup exactly how I wanted and made it so my husband and I could just relax and enjoy instead of worrying if everything was going to plan or not. Brittney also worked with me on my budget and short timing (I had to plan my wedding in 4 months), which I found pleasantly uncommon compared to a lot of other event planners in NY I researched, who book up quickly and are really not flexible on time or budget outside of their standard packages. Best of all, Brittney had worked with my venue and a lot of my vendors in Brooklyn before, which made things run even more smoothly. A month before the wedding, I realized I couldn't be in several places at once the day of (even with my planning experience!). I reached out to Brittney and immediately I felt at ease. I knew the day was going to be in good hands with her. She understood our vision and intention. She worked beautifully alongside our venue and photographer. Several of our guests came up to me and described at length how great Brittney was. She's professional, creative, and incredibly organized. She made sure everyone was taken care of; I was especially grateful for the plates of food and a drink for when we were ready to eat.
