I used Blast Blow Dry to for bridal hair and make up and wedding party hair and make up, and I had a wonderful experience with them.
After my first trial, I didn't feel the look was 100% what I wanted, and the owner, Venus, offered me a second hair and make up trial at no additional cost. At the second trial, I used Crystal for hair and Phillip for make-up, and they both gave me exactly the look I was hoping for. I brought better pictures the second time. I thought it was exceptionally helpful of Venus to offer this second trial.
The day of, everyone at Blast was very calming and even brought us champagne. My hair and make up looked stunning--Crystal and Phillip made me into the beautiful bride I wanted to be. Not only that, but my 6 bridesmaids, and mom and mother and law all had their hair done too and looked incredible. The moms and 2 bridesmaids elected to have their make up done, and again, it turned out very nice.
I paid for the bridal party and mother's hair, as well as my own hair and make up. I really feel that I got an incredible value, and even added on gratuity beyond what was included because I really felt that Blast went above and beyond for me.
Going to the salon the day of was a really fun experience. I got married on a Friday, and we mostly had the place to ourselves. All of the staff seemed genuinely excited. They didn't act like the wedding was just another routine event, but truly made me feel special and taken care of.
I am SO glad that I booked Blast for my wedding. I would recommend them to anyone, and I will be back to have my hair done for more special occasions in the future. Thank you Venus, Crystal, Philip, and the rest of the incredible Blast team! My wedding party looked awesome, and I have the pictures to prove it!
