World-renowned chef and restauranteur Guy Vaknin brings his distinct point of view to vegan dining with over 15 years of experience in catering special events. Our expert event planners will help bring your celebration to life with venue scouting, rental coordination, and event staffing.
In addition to off-premise catering, we have several private event venues available throughout Manhattan. Our restaurants, Anixi, Willow, Coletta, and Beyond Sushi, offer a modern, fun atmosphere with signature menus and full bars. We can host up to 85 guests for rehearsal dinners, receptions, and showers.

Having an all vegan wedding was really important to us, and since most of our attendees are meat-eaters, we knew the food had to be REALLY good…and City Roots exceeded expectations on every front. We’ve gotten married about six months ago our guests still rave about how good the food at our wedding is.
Also, the folks at City Roots were so helpful and responsive from the very first email. We felt totally supported by everyone, and we personally felt that the entire staff went way above and beyond what a normal caterer would do. They took a lot of the logistics off of our plates when it came to rentals, which was a huge relief for me while planning. They also helped come up with a wonderful menu within our budget.
In all, I couldn’t reccomend City Roots more highly. Fantastic folks, fantastic food…they were truly a pleasure to work with and made our wedding day even more special.
