Beyond Smitten Events was created by the owner, wedding planner and former event and hospitality professional, Mae Mallon. After her roles in Catering Sales, Food & Beverage and Convention Services in some of SF's high end hotels, she took the leap and started her business focusing on what she loves most - weddings! The creative team at Beyond Smitten Events focuses on client experience and attention to detail. They've planned weddings of all sizes all over Northern California.

Mae is the BEST!
- Reliability. Mae was on top of her game and executed our planning details into the most gorgeous set up. She was calm, collected, and worked with what we wanted with ease. She established trust so easily that on the wedding day I had no worries about any details.
- Enthusiasm. When I felt buried under details and stressed Mae was the shining source of energy we needed. We didn't feel like another client in a spreadsheet, she was authentic.
- Execution. I had multiple guests come up to me and tell me the timing of the wedding was amazing. They appreciated the flow and never felt rushed or stuck. All our vendors (and their timelines) were seamlessly managed, there weren't any hiccups. That was all Mae!!

She started her journey with Beyond Smitten Events in early 2019 after moving to the Sacramento area. She has a gift for anticipating needs and acting on them in the most thoughtful ways. With her background in customer service, she's a pro at navigating sticky situations whether it's during the planning process or on the wedding day itself. Her favorite part of a wedding day is that special pause right before she sends someone down the aisle.
Beth joined the Beyond Smitten Events team in 2019 and is a rockstar when it comes to the finest details. Couples and her team appreciate her bright smile, go-getter attitude, and ability to adjust to any unexpected obstacles the day might bring. She checks, double checks, and then triple checks all details of the wedding day, allowing couples to breathe easy and enjoy each moment with their loved ones.
