My cupcake tower and cake were the stars of the wedding (after me of course!) Everyone loved the cupcakes (we were able to order 4 options - vanilla, chocolate, red velvet, and carrot) and our polka dot chocolate ganache 6" cake. We even were able to order a gluten-free almond chocolate cake a couple weeks before the wedding, with no problems. The staff at Betty Bakery were always very attentive, responsive, and willing to work with our wants and needs.

Cheryl made the most amazing Fall/Autumn wedding cake for us that I can't even tell you how many
compliments we received on it. It was red velvet which was to die for.
Their cake is so moist and tasty and let me tell you everyone remembers your wedding cake!
Most look good and taste horrid this cake looked amazing and tasted amazing.

Do yourself a favor, go to their bakery and try their baked goods OMG AMAZING!!!

Cheryl did an awesome job with my wedding cake! I changed my mind a few times over the course of the year to change the flavor and décor, but she was patient and understanding throughout the whole process! Ultimately, I settled on a décor that was modeled after our wedding invitation and I was blown away by the cake. I didn't see a mock up before the wedding but I was confident that she would do a great job and she delivered! The cake was not only very beautiful but it was so tasty! I went with the yellow cake with lemon buttercream and raspberry jam and it was a hit. Highly recommend this bakery!

I am still talking about how good my wedding cake was. Not only that- it was soo beautiful! I worked with Cheryl to pick out every detail from the cake, the ganache, the fondant, the sugar flowers. It was such a fun experience. My guests all commented on how pretty it was and still tasted delicious- not something you see every day.

It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I write this review for Betty Bakery in Brooklyn. My husband and I were married on July 7, 2012 and we used this vendor. My mother was not happy that I did not want to do a traditional cake and so we ordered a cupcake tier with a small round cake on top. Cheryl and her staff were more than hospitable and accommodating through the process. The tasting that they gave us was amazing and they even sent us home with three little cakes to sample. They worked with our color scheme and budget and answered any questions that we had. Cheryl even shared her own stories of her wedding planning and the stress that we brides go through. Needless to say on the day of our wedding we were blown away. It was more than I ever expected. It was better. Even my mother who did not think that cupcakes could look so beautiful and elegant was very pleased. The best part is that guests who dod not want to eat their cupcakes there could take them home because they provided little containers for them.

If you are looking for a fabulous our bakery and a great staff then please give them a call. I promise that you will be more than pleased. We certainly are.

llen was fantastic throughout! From the very beginning, she was very accommodating and helped us come up with the perfect cake. We had left the cake until pretty late, but Ellen managed to squeeze us in for a tasting on a very busy day without any hassle. We had done some homework and came up with some ideas for style, flavor and outer layer. On the day of our visit, we looked at an extensive catalog of designs and picked three that we really liked. Ellen then brought out a few samples, covering all of our earlier choices. One of the cakes in particular, yellow cake/passion fruit filling/white chocolate icing, really blew us away in terms of flavor and consistency.
Interestingly, we took the samples home and had family try them over the following couple of days. Without fail, every single person agreed on our choice! Once we let Ellen know our choice, the rest was a piece of cake. The cake was delivered on time, was exactly as we expected, and was devoured by our guests! We told Ellen what types of flowers were being used in our centerpieces and her staff created sugar replicas for a beautiful cake topper. Thankfully we have the top layer in our freezer because there was nothing left - it was that good. For the price, quality and level of service, Betty was a great choice and I would have no reservations in recommending them in the future.
