Katie’s energy is infectious and she brings joy and light to everything she does. She kept everyone going on the day of our wedding despite the cold and made sure that everything was in order. At no point on the day of our wedding did we have concerns about having to coordinate anything with anyone, we knew Katie had everything in hand. We gave her free reign when it came to parts of the table setting since certain aspects were still up in the air and we could not have been happier with how they turned out. She did an exceptional job of bringing our vision to life, keeping the energy high, and making sure that we never had to think about a single thing!

In the lead up to the big day, Katie was always prompt in answering our questions and making sure that we felt confident in our decision making even when we felt like we had no idea what we were doing. She made everything feel stress free for us and we couldn’t be more appreciative!

Katie Hall… what can I possibly say that would speak to how special she is? Katie from Best Day Ever LA is an absolute gem. As my husband and I were choosing wedding planners, the moment we spoke to her we KNEW she was the one. She was the stand-out amongst many, many other planners we met with (and it’s worth noting that both my husband and I have worked hundreds of weddings as musicians, therefore have worked with hundreds of planners from the other side). She tapped into our vibe right away and through the whole process, went above and beyond in every way to make our wedding something special and unique to us. For every question we had, for every issue that came up, for every need that arose, she had an answer – with mountains of experience and good taste to back it up. She is the consummate professional, skilled, reliable, meticulous, and even when things got extra stressful she maintained a wonderfully positive demeanor through it all, which helps US when we are stressed. On top of all that, Katie is an absolutely lovely human, and we have developed a beautiful personal relationship over the time we spent planning our wedding. She really puts her whole heart into her work, and it shows in how she takes care of us, our families, our guests, and our vendors. Katie is 100% the person you want in your corner, no doubt about it.

When my husband’s family lost their home to the Palisades Fire a few days before our wedding, we had to have a serious conversation about if we could even put on the event at all. For a moment, it looked like all of our hard work would have to be surrendered to the circumstances and postponed to a later date. After talking at length with Katie, we decided to continue on, to give our despaired guests something positive and bright to focus on, and we’re so glad we did. Our wedding night was a true miracle. It was beautiful, joyful, uplifting, and it ran pretty damn smoothly! There was little to worry about on my and my husband’s end, because Katie and all our vendors (many of whom were on Katie’s VIP vendor list) were working tirelessly and efficiently behind the scenes to put on a celebration enjoyable for all. Our guests were elated to be there, and many have told us it was their FAVORITE wedding they've ever been to! My husband and I are still on cloud 9 four days later, and we are so grateful for Katie being our beacon in what was an extraordinarily difficult and stressful time for us. I don’t know what else I can say that would further convince anyone that she is the one, but she is THE ONE!

When my Dad and I used to talk business, he said the key to good management was to surround yourself with good people and let them do their thing. It was clear early on we had done just that in hiring BDELA and everything fell into place for us given Katie's organization, knowledge, suggestions, professionalism - all of it. Katie was just the right partner - always encouraging my daughter to be herself, not following some pre-conceived notion of what a wedding should be and leading the way to vendors that ended up reflecting that perfectly. Our wedding day was more perfect then words. Our vision was fully realized and everything was put together stunningly. Katie and her assistant were available for each moment we needed an extra hand. They were both so thoughtful throughout the event - making sure we ate something right after our ceremony before we were whisked away by the photographer. They made sure we had enough to eat at dinner and even brought us some cocktails while we finished up a private photo session later in the evening.
