Beau Catering is an award-winning catering company located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina that services weddings throughout the local area, including in Chapel Hill, Raleigh and Durham. Our hHead Chef Katie Hopkins carries on Beau Bennett's legacy and operates the business with the goal of obtaining and using local, fresh ingredients to create each meal. She will custom design a menu to fit your wants and needs. The company not only provides locally focused services, but also practices environmentally-friendly operations by using recyclable, reusable and sustainable products whenever possible. The company is a Living Wage Certified by Orange County Living Wage, as we are committed to providing a living wage for all of our employees.

Cuisine
Beau Catering offers local American-style food for couples’ wedding events. Dietary needs can be accommodated for, including gluten-free, lactose-free, no pork, nut-free, organic, vegan and vegetarian. Beau Catering will handle cleanup and setup for the event and also can provide bar services. Additionally, the following catering services are available to each couple:

Highly recommend

We had a fantastic experience with Beau - they were professional and responsive and worked with us extensively to tailor the menu/package we wanted. The food was delicious and we received many compliments from our guests. They worked with our venue and other vendors to make sure everything ran smoothly. Would recommend to anyone. Good people!

The catering was exccellent

From the tasting to booking to event beau was easy to work with and did a great job helping us create a seasonal menu for our summer wedding. They were able to walk us through the process and help us craft our menu. We received many compliments on how good the food was, with the ravioli being the standout and some of the best ive ever had.

Amazing food

Wow! The food at my wedding was amazing! We had passed appetizers during cocktail hour and a dinner buffet with a plated salad. So many people told me how good the food was. The team set aside a plate of appetizers for me and my husband while we took pictures and brought us our dinners to our table so we did not have to lift a finger. Everyone on the team that I interacted with was professional and so nice. I’m so happy that we chose Beau Catering for our wedding!

Best wedding food you've ever had

The food quite literally stole the show. It was by far the most talked about part of our whole wedding. It is that good. I cannot recommend Beau Catering enough, and if you have the chance to work with them, do it. They are truly an amazing vendor.

Excellent food and team

We love Beau and his team. Excellent food and awesome collaboration. We were fortunate to know and worth with Beau before he passed away. If you are hesitant about hiring Beau Catering without Beau, don't be, his team intimately knows his food and will carry on his legacy.

Beau's Catering is delicious!!

We're so happy we chose Beau for our wedding catering! Beau and his team are so amazing to work with. They were flexible and helpful, and truly made the planning process so seamless.

We of course had to opt for the "Beau Show" where Beau came out and presented the menu at are wedding reception. Everyone loved that! And everyone loved the food!

We got so many compliments about how delicious our appetizers and dinner were. Beau really helps you personalize your menu to match the couple. We wanted a mostly southern menu, but wanted to add a dash of Cuban flare as a nod to our culture. Beau made us little Cuban empanadas stuffed with southern bbq pork for cocktail hour, and they were a huge hit!

Beau is amazing!

I am a wedding planner in the Raleigh area and I absolutely love Beau Catering! I have been working with them for 5+ years and their food never disappoints. I always tell my foodie brides to check out Beau because he really focuses on local ingredients and absolutely fantastic tasting food. I could not recommend them enough!

Great Food and Service

Marissa is a Rockstar! She helped with the menu and the planning. She even was able to accommodate the few dietary restrictions we had (one person got a separate plate, even though we had a buffet). She knows what she is doing, and she is very experienced. She even helped us pick out wine/beer that would go well with everything and helped guide us with how much we should buy. She also helped with rentals. It is more than just a food vendor. Speaking of the food, the food was outstanding! We had a cocktail hour with appetizers, a plated salad, and a buffet. The crab cakes and mini chicken and waffles were a big hit. The BBQ and the steak were also talked about by all our guests. She got the groom and his boys ice before the ceremony and made sure that we had appetizers and drinks during pictures. I would 100% recommend Beau’s Catering and had no issues with them whatsoever.

Amazing Food and Team!

Working with Beau Catering was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning! Marissa was so helpful during the planning--helping us figure out our menu, rentals, and signature cocktail options. She also helped us modify existing menu options to meet our guests' dietary restrictions and allergies. On the day of the wedding the catering team and bartenders made sure everything went smoothly and Beau came out to explain the menu items to our guests. Everyone loved the food, and they even packed a box of leftovers for us to bring home with us after the reception. We would definitely recommend Beau Catering to all other couples planning their weddings!

Best food ever!

Beau and Marissa are a rockstar team. Throughout the planning process, Marissa was genuine and made sure we were informed about our decisions. Beau's personality will charm your guests, but his cuisine will even more! My guests were raving about how amazing their food was. Amazing value for the quality of food we received. Also appreciated their staff, as the bartenders and servers provided were awesome.

Beau Catering is an awesome Catering company. I recently had the pleasure of working with them on my clients wedding. For a wedding planner, we look for catering company that is well organized, efficient, & have amazing food. All these are true with Beau Catering. I did not have to worry about anything with them. They took charge of the food & beverage, setting the tables, & taking care of the guests. The food was cleared immediately from the guests so they did not sit with food in front of them. Super important to me. They expedited the guests through the buffet line in perfect time. Their staff is very polite & always ready to help! Beau has so much excitement and shows true customer service & hospitality! I love how he explains the menu to the guests prior to dinner - this makes him stand out from the rest! Love it! I will be recommending Beau Catering to my clients in the future! Great company!
