Cuisine

The culinary team at Basil Pizza Bar handcrafts authentic Neapolitan pizza bases and homemade tomato sauce using high-quality ingredients and organic produce where possible. They specialize in vegan pizza bases that are egg and tree-nut free as well as gluten-free options and cauliflower bases. Pizzas are cooked fresh on-site and include delicious toppings such as classic margherita, white funghi, pepperoni, prosciutto, and basil pesto. For your wedding day, they can design pizza, pasta, oyster, and carving stations for a relaxed yet refined feast. A snapshot of sumptuous appetizers includes olive tapenade crostini, bruschetta, and bacon-wrapped asparagus. Their buffet tables comprise fresh salads and pasta and come with serving equipment and utensils. For dessert, guests can enjoy a berrytella calzone filled with fresh fruit, Nutella, and marshmallows, or an Italian coffee courtesy of a pop-up barista bar.

Great Pizza and Great Service

This pizza was great for our wedding! Everyone loved it. The guest favorite was the pesto pizza. Basil Pizza was great to work with. They set up and clean up their area which makes for low stress set up and clean up. Highly recommend!

No ordinary pizza

So delicious. Pizza is my favorite food and I wanted to have some at my wedding. Some family members where worried but once they tried the pizza and the meatballs they were quick to say how delicious the food was.

We had a backyard wedding in my in-laws gorgeous house. We loved the fact that the pizza ovens were set up next to the pool! We've had food trucks in the past and having to run to the truck to place an order was taking away from the fun. We had the funghi pizza, Margherita and Meat Lover and they were all amazing! We also had salads, Caprese skewers and bruschetta during cocktail hour. Do not hesitate and hire them for your wedding, you will not be deceived!

We are pizza aficionados, so we HAD to serve Pizza for our wedding! The question was. Which caterer to choose ?

We started browsing around looking for a pizza caterer that would offer an upscaled set-up, as usually pizza is considered a casual food, we were concerned about the overall set-up and look of the station. We found Basil Pizza and were very intrigued with their pictures (as they were the only ones to post picture about their station).

On wedding day, the set-up looked exactly like on the website! Every little detail was well thought of: marble counter tops, state of the art wood fired ovens, Pizza Chefs with clean attire (and very friendly). All our guests were impressed as they had a chance to see the pizza baking right by them. Yes! the station being fully portable, they set up ovens, and buffet next to the banquet tables.

Let's talk about the food. We had an appetizer round with tray passed appetizers (Bruschetta and skewers), the highly suggested appetizer platter was a hit !

Then salads and pizzas! We had a cake for dessert.

The team was a pleasure to work with, they helped during the planning, as they encouraged to work a table release schedule and it worked perfectly.

Thank you guys for an amazing work !!!

A truly wonderful experience on our big day! Our guests really enjoyed the wedding pizza catering. The kids especially loved being able to build their own pizzas at the pizza bar. Highly recommend Basil pizza bar. They bring their own brick ovens and make hand-made pizzas on the spot.

We COULD NOT be more happy with the quality of food and service we received! My husband and I were able to sit back and relax knowing that everything was taken care of. Their online menu had a lot to choose from and was a simple process from start to finish. Their set up was high-end, classy, and the little pizza ovens were brilliant. We were worried that the ovens would take up too much space but their entire station was compact and quick to set up & take down. Very fair pricing for Los Angeles. The staff was incredibly accommodating and professional. Yuri was super flexible to work with and the attention to detail was spot on. I can't possibly say enough great things about Basil Pizza Bar - we are so glad to have found them and would recommend them to anyone.

Basil Pizza Bar created a wedding that I had not dreamed possible! From the beautiful layout to the ambiance, to the fresh, yummy, melt-in-your-mouth-good food, they really exceeded our expectations. We didn't have to worry about anything - they were very responsive to emails and phone calls, extremely patient and kind. Our guests were commenting that it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. We chose the portable pizza bar that fit in our backyard. Our guests were able to make their own personal pizzas with many different delicious toppings. Yuri and his staff really listened to what we wanted and delivered. They were so charming and top of service during the entire event. What a fabulous day - thank you, Basil Pizza Bar is second to none!
