We knew the moment we walked into Millwick that it was where we wanted to get married. It's tucked away in DTLA, surrounded by the most beautiful plants and the coolest atmosphere. Almost all of our guests complimented the venue immediately - it's such a cool relaxed vibe. The team were incredible to work with, they really care and take care of the place and it shows!

Marvimon Productions is an absolute gem of a company to work with for your wedding. The team is incredibly detail-orientated and responsive, so the planning process is a breeze. They have an excellent network of vendors and everything just feels polished and well-oiled.

As for the venue itself...the pictures do not do it justice. It is a true oasis in DTLA and stunning at night. Our guests had a blast and could not stop raving about how cool the place is.

We knew the Millwick had to be our wedding venue from the moment we saw photos of of it. The venue is so beautiful. As soon as you walk through the doors, you don’t even feel like you are in downtown LA. We loved the unique feeling and how you can make it your own. It was so easy to work with Dana, Clare and the whole team at Marvimon. They just want your wedding day to be everything you dreamed of. Our wedding at the Millwick was everything we hoped for and more. We were so happy with how everything turned out.

Marvimon Productions have some of the most beautiful wedding venues that I have ever personally seen and the Millwick was our dream wedding venue. We are so very happy that we were able to have our wedding at the Millwick. It had the exact look that we were going for. Our guests were incredibly complimentary of the venue. Honestly, we wouldn’t have wanted our wedding at any other location. Additionally, Dana and Clare were very helpful throughout the planning process, are excellent at their jobs, and are also very nice people each time we met or interacted with them. I cannot recommend Marvimon, their wedding venues, and especially the Millwick enough!

The Millwick is such a beautiful and breathtaking spot to host your ceremony and reception. We truly fell in love with the place the minute we saw it. We would highly recommend.

Millwick was an incredible spot for us to have our wedding. We were between that and SmogShoppe (owned by the same people), but ultimately chose Millwick because we live in DTLA and wanted guests to get a feel for our day-to-day lives.

We worked with Dana to plan our big day and she is as accommodating as you can imagine. She responds to every detail of every email you send and will always be there for you no matter how busy she gets. Let me tell you, this is a huge luxury given the horror stories I've heard about venues not responding to calls or emails from increasingly nervous clients. You won't have that problem at Millwick. Although they have a lot of rules, they want to set you up for success from the beginning so you get your full security deposit back (which we did).

Don't be afraid to ask questions or for advice on rentals, the people who work here have done hundreds of weddings and are happy to go above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly on your big day. Prepare to rent some unexpected things (i.e. bar mats, trash bins), but again, if you communicate with Millwick from the beginning about what is needed, they will be very helpful explaining what to rent for your crowd size and such.

The atmosphere is incomparable. The greenery makes everything so colorful, you can add as few or as many decorations if you want. We were so lucky to be able to have our wedding here and can't wait to see the photos from our photographer. At night, the outdoor area completely transforms, and if you have a fun crowd, there are tons of bars nearby that they can go to immediately afterward. We loved having our wedding here. It's worth the money.

Millwick truly has it all. It was a bit over our intended venue budget, but when you factor in that it has so much built-in, like a great A/V system, tables and chairs, the cool bar, lots of comfy furniture, beautiful and lush style (it doesn’t take much extra decor to make it look special), it felt very worth it to us. We loved how we could seamlessly transition from outdoor to indoor. On top of that, every single employee we worked with at Millwick was so friendly, detail-oriented, and organized. They handled every request or question with ease and seemed to have a beautiful PDF already prepared for everything we asked about. We were planning our wedding from afar and it felt so good to know that the team at Millwick is a well-oiled machine (with a lot of character), but we never felt like just another couple getting married there. Millwick is a unique oasis in the middle of downtown LA that we and our guests really enjoyed. Highly recommend!

I love this place. I wish I could just come and hang out here, and it wasn't just for events. I knew I was interested in a spot that was industrial with a lot of greens, so we contacted a few like Elysian, Studio 1342, Carondelet, Fig House, and the Unique Space. We ended up picking Millwick because of the special quirks like animal wallpaper at the bar and living room-type feel of the indoor and outdoor space (and there are FOUR really nice bathrooms). Looking back, I'm also glad we picked it because DTLA turned out to be a really unique area that I hadn't previously spent much time exploring (in comparison to sister venue SmogShoppe in Culver City).

The pictures of Millwick don't really do the place justice. The whole feel of rolling up to an abandoned looking garage building and then turning the corner into an urban jungle really set the tone for the experience here. At night, the lights give it a nice, warm glow. And the sofa set in the middle of the outdoor space give it a cozy, relaxing feel. There are little accents everywhere that will make your photos really pop, like the parrot couch in the background or the gold textured wall by the bathrooms. This made it easy for us to not having to decorate, since we have no eye for it. We could just use the venue pretty much as is, and it was still gorgeous. While I loved the teal color of the dining chairs, my only complaint is that they aren't the most comfortable and look a little bit flimsy. You could swap them out with your own rentals, but the color really helps to accent the room.

We booked our date about a year out to get the Saturday we wanted. The venue is really popular, so get in contact asap. You can always put a soft hold down with no charge. We worked with Helen on the booking and then with Dana once we put down the deposit. Dana was so helpful in the process and made sure we were following all of the rules so that we could get our entire deposit back (we did).
