Marvimon Productions is a series of event venues based in Los Angeles, California, serving the entire Los Angeles County area. This production company reinvents and restores old, neglected, and overlooked properties, and transforms them into unique, experimental event venues. Using creative designs, Marvimon Productions brings venues to life with plants, water, lighting, and lots of love and attention. If you are seeking a totally unique, eco friendly event venue that tells a story and has history behind it, Marvimon Productions could have the right venue for you.

Facilities and Capacity
Marvimon Productions has several event venues located around the Los Angeles area. Each venue space has its own unique features, history, and story, but can be used for a variety of events, such as weddings, film shoots, parties, or other celebrations. These venues are a great place for couples with a creative eye and unique vision in mind for their wedding day. The first venue, Flora Chang, is a small, intimate space, ideal for use as a bridal/groom suite, or for smaller parties and celebrations. Millwick, another venue, is a grand, super-loft with 7,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space for up to 175 guests. Valentine, one of the company’s newer venues, offers a beautiful, flowing floorplan of 9,000 square feet with available use of a commercial kitchen and unique, shifting dimensions and flexibility. The Grass Room has 6,000 square feet of space, a commercial kitchen, and beautiful architecture. Finally, the SmogShoppe, a totally solar-powered venue, has 6,5000 square feet of space with an abundance of plants, gardens, and vintage furniture and decor, with room for up to 200 people. Each of these venues offers a unique story and history behind them, with new, fresh, and modern touches to make them ideal for creative events.

Best Venue!

We had our wedding at SmogShoppe this past August and we are so happy we did! The space is amazing, the Marvimon team aced it, and we had a blast! The Marvimon team is great to work with, they are communicative, understanding, and fun - they do a great job of hyping you up for your event. We're still hearing from our guests about how much they loved the venue and never would have guessed an old automotive shop could become such a beautiful event space. We loved the eclectic look and feel of it all, especially all the greenery! I would recommend leaning into the look of the SmogShoppe, it has a personality all its own. I was worried we would hear traffic the whole time but the high walls really do separate you from the main street and block the sound. They have a great team of recommended vendors that made our lives so much easier, and all of them were the same fun vibe that we were hoping for. Definitely recommend hosting your event with SmogShoppe, and I'm sure the other Marvimon locations are just as great!

coolest bathroom selfies ever

We got married at Millwick in March. It was a beautiful location, and the staff was very on top of organization and any last minute changes. We didn’t have the best weather, and they went out of their way to make sure we always knew our options and felt good about what the day would look like. We were very happy to have our wedding at Millwick and would absolutely use one of their properties again for future events.

This place has everything

SmogShoppe and the team at Marvimon are exceptional! They helped us plan our dream wedding and everything went off without a hitch! They are super responsive over email and are so accommodating of your vision for your wedding. We booked the space the day we saw it; it was exactly what we wanted - super eclectic and vibey, very LA, and indoor/outdoor. We had a non-traditional, cocktail-style wedding with cornhole, a stick-and-poke tattoo artist, a tarot reader, photo booth, and pizza and tacos for dinner with no assigned seating. The layout went through various changes, but the staff at SmogShoppe never told us no, told us exactly what we would need to rent (quantity, type) and were able to answer all of our vendors' questions. The attention to detail and amount of information is unmatched. We used a few of their preferred vendors (MTB Rentals, Jaliscos Tacos) and they were wonderful! The the venue is a 12-hour rental, all furniture included, sound system, temperature controlled, bridal suite/private area, projector screen (we played "Hair" and "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" on mute behind the dance floor), and full industrial kitchen. It's a great deal for the money and Dana, Alex, and Clare are just the cherry on top!

Amazing Venue

The Smogshoppe in Culver City is amazing. The team at Marvimon Productions is awesome. Our wedding was postponed a year because of the pandemic and Marvimon was there with us every step of the way. If you are looking for a fun, hip venue that is central to all of Los Angeles, we highly recommend the Smogshoppe or any of Marvimon's venues. The spaces are all different but able to be arranged and decorated to meet almost any vision. The team is responsive, professional, and caring. Our day was beyond perfect. Thank you.

Breath of Fresh Air

Responsive, transparent, and fun! My wife and I had the best time booking this location. The first place we were acknowledged as a couple and not just a pair of friends, that speaks volumes about the kind of people who work here! We couldn't have asked for a more magical location to share our love for each other. A hidden gem and a speakeasy feel as well. After touring so many locations thank you Smogshoppe for being that breath of fresh air.
Customization of the vendors made for a very appealing booking. This venue has so much character and charm that very little decor was needed (other than some personal touches) to make it feel like magic.
If you are looking for a unique space with amazing staff (shout out to Dana!) and a loving atmosphere look no further. Our guests had the best time and had the best things to say about this little secret garden. Great times, photos, and the perfect backdrop to any event.

Perfect Earthly and Beautiful Venue

As soon as my fiance walked into the venue we knew in a matter of minutes this is where we wanted our reception. The decor, the location, the open space fit right into our dream. We have been fortunate that this venue conducts regular open houses around every 6-8 weeks. This gives my fiance and I multiple chances to revisit our venue before our big day. The service from this venue has been impeccable so far and we cannot wait for all of our loved ones to see how great it is on our big day!

BEST VENUE IN LA! I am obsessed. We fell in love with Smog from the second we found it online. I cried and new it was for us. The staff is exceptional (Nicolette & Dana). The cost included 12 hours of rental, space design assistance, vendor referrals, tables/chairs, benches, 2 lounge areas, ceremony & reception space, open house visits for planning, and 2 planning sessions; space is fully decorated!. There is an indoor & outdoor space, crow's nest for the bridal party/getting ready space, dance floor, kitchen, and closet (often used for photo booths or storage). They offer off-season, mid-week/Friday/Sunday, and same-sex discounts. The appeal for us was the eclectic design of the space. It's exceptional and fits all styles. The staff are very knowledgable and helpful in offering ideas to accommodate your needs & style. The furniture can be moved around as well. We were looking for a lounge-y, coffee house, hip venue that would give the feeling of entertaining our guests at home. Our guests were blown away by this space. Absolutely blown away. I could seriously live there.

My wife found Smogshoppe one Sunday morning after browsing online for several hours. She came to me crying, and told me she found where we would get married. When she began telling me about it, I wasn't too sure. But then I saw the pictures and I began to understand...

We went down to the venue for an open house. It was GORGEOUS!! The perfect mix of a city loft vibe, outdoors, and eclecticism. We absolutely loved the mix of things there that don't go together at all, but absolutely do!! The lighting and decor that are provided are more than enough if you are on a tight budget. There is really no need to add much of anything!!

All the staff are amazingly friendly and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond to make your day perfect. My wedding was absolutely the best day of my life!! I only wish I could do it again and again and again. I didn't want the evening to end!!

All of our guests kept raving about Smogshoppe all night long, and in the weeks following our wedding. It isn't cheap, but it is most definitely worth every penny. You will NOT be disappointed with this venue!

Not only did we just fall completely in love with this gorgeous and eclectic venue space, but the entire Smog Shoppe staff made us feel so relaxed about the process of booking their venue and finalizing the floor plan for our wedding day. The moment we met Dana in person we felt so well taken care of! She is amazing at what she does! She has an easy-going personality and made us feel very re-assured. She has so much knowledge and helped us fill in the gaps with ideas that we would not have even thought of! We couldn't ask for a better wedding experience and we are so glad we booked with Smog Shoppe! This beautiful and dreamy urban space will forever be a part of the incredible memories of our wedding day! Thank you!
