Barron and Barron Photography has captured every important milestone in our family for the past eighteen years, including my daughter's wedding in July. It rained during her wedding, and Dave was able to work around the weather to get great photos. He captured the keepsake family photos and spontaneous moments during the reception. They provided a few sneak peek pictures the day after the wedding. The electronic file of images was ready in less than two weeks. I would recommend this photographer.

The short version: we got almost 900 absolutely gorgeous photos from our wedding with less than a month turn around time. Digitaly downloadable. All the special moments were captured. I would go with Barron and Barron a hundred times over.

The not so short version: Dave did a fabulous job!! Despite my best efforts the wedding day did not go as scheduled. I got into my dress 45 minutes later than I wanted to which pushed back the first look and all the pics. But save used that time to get amazing pics of the groom and groomsmen, all my accessories, my dress outside. The groom with his parents. Amazing. Once I finally got In my dress and we got rolling he was so diligent with our time. His wife also came and assisted - Bonnye. She was super sweet- made sure my train and veil looked good in all the pictures and returned all my accessories to me. Dave worked flawlessly with the videographers. Got AMAZING pics of the ceremony. Caught all the special moments. Honestly I don’t even remember seeing him when I walked down the isle but he got awesome shots of it! And then after the ceremony- I had made a “shot list” of all the family that was supposed to be in what pic but no one was able to follow my notes so things got a little discombobulated but Dave was patient and kept right on trucking.

He caught all the details of the reception- is walking in, chatting with guests, the cake cutting, the toasts, the dances. The pictures are just amazing.

I know I’m kind of partial because it’s my wedding and all but seriously I think these pics could be in a magazine. Just a phenomenal job!!

We cannot say enough about the exemplary service and final product we received from Dave and his team. From start to finish, we felt extremely confident in Dave’s abilities, and his skills shine through in the final photos! Prior to the wedding Dave gave us great, honest advice about timing and the different services he offers. He patiently talked me through our wedding day about my expectations and crafted the perfect plan to get the most of our photos. On the day of the wedding Dave was prompt, charismatic but professional, fast and effective! I couldn’t believe how many shots he was able to get. He and his assitant Jon were always in the right places to catch every moment. They both had a wonderful demeanor; they made photo-taking fun and were even able to get small children (and unruly groomsmen) to focus and smile! Most importantly, Dave knew without me telling him what photos needed to come next and thought of things I didn’t even know I would want! He managed the process based on my guidance, but also proactively with the right amount of professional discretion so I didn’t feel like I was working or directing as the bride. He easily accommodated requests that I made on the spot, without question. We were always on time, also. That is what you want in a professional photographer on your wedding day.
The photos came back quickly, and they are absolutely GORGEOUS!! We don’t have a single complaint. Everything was beautifully captured and edited... truly, we are thrilled with the final product. There is a balance of modern, fun, traditional, editorial shots; a mix of angles and styles is exactly what I asked for. You can trust that Dave will execute what you request. Our friends and family say they are some of the best wedding photos they’ve seen. I highly recommend Dave, obviously, but I also recommend you have him come for the entire length of your wedding if you can – you won’t regret it. :)

You simply won't find a better photographer. David Barron has such an amazing talent, both artistically and technically. His are not your run-of-the-mill wedding photos. They run the gamut from the traditional to the artistic. On top of that, he is so personable and so much fun to work with. He makes everyone feel at ease and comfortable in front of his camera. We were so impressed and happy with the engagement photos that Ryan's mom hired him to do family portraits of their soon-to-be-larger family. These were just as amazing as we had anticipated. And then it came time for the Bridal portraits. After two portrait sessions, our expectations were very high. And as high as they were, he surpassed them! Our favorite actually left people speechless with their jaw dropped. Once they could speak, most of them simply said "Breathtaking!" Or they would gasp and say "Oh my! That is amazing!" Of course, all of this was building up to the Big Day! The wedding photos captured our beach wedding to perfection. We let him choose the time for the ceremony to begin so he would have wonderful light. And the sunset cooperated beautifully. People want to know if the post-ceremony photos are in front of a backdrop because the sunset was so dazzling. No, the sky actually looked like that and Dave captured the sunset just perfectly. At the reception, it seemed he was always in the right spot at the right time. He was able to capture the emotions of the evening as well as the fun. We would highly recommend him for portraits of all kinds, and of course to create an amazing photo gallery of your wedding. Even though we live more than three hours away, we will not mind the drive to book him for any of our future photographic needs. Thank you Dave, for the amazing photos you have provided for us.
